what are the chances of a second "stone of jas" being in runescape?

I believe Bilrach wants to become more powerful to avoid becoming the next "victim" in the ritual, IIRC

Well, ALL of the Mahjarrat want to do that. ;P

In regards to Bilrach and the Dragonkin: in his notes, Bilrach says that Zemouregal underestimates his power. Considering that Bilrach was Zamorak's third in command (behind Lucien, presumably) and that Zamorak commissioned Bilrach to summon K'ril, and that Bilrach was able to recruit the Kal'Gerion demons, I'd say that Bilrach is probably a LOT stronger than Zemouregal, and just doesn't let it on.

I agree with Squisher -- I think the Dragonkin sealed themselves at the bottom floor of Daemonheim (remember that they hid themselves for protection because they were worried about their race dying out).

Castle Drakan used to belong to the Kin (as seen in A Tail of Two Cats), but Zamorak gave it to Drakan after Zaros' fall.

Is anyone else TOTALLY psyched to see a huge battle between the Zarosian and Zamorakian Mahjarrat?! I wanna see Azzanadra kick some ass.

Yes. I'd get 99 mage and bring ancients just for awesomeness... would be insane with 255/99 mage.

In the "Meeting History" quest, there was an allusion to a race of Elder Gods that created the Plane of Gielinor. They left and Guthix moved in were he used the Stone of Jas to shape the world. After which Im guessing Zaros, Armadyl, Bandos, Marimbo, Seren, The Desert Gods etc all began moving into the world.

Jas was most likely an Elder God, who enslaved the Dragonkin to guard the stone according to WGS Quest Journal, and then left with the other elder gods (unless it was just him). It seems unlikely that there would be a 2nd Stone, perhaps the rift at the bottom of Daemonheim is the rift through which the Elder Gods left?

Zaros is one of the original gods, he used to have alot more power than he did now. But then Zamorak used the Staff of Armadyl to steal some of Zaros' power and send Zaros into another dimension.

And since Zaros is one of the original gods (the other being Guthix), it would be in his best interest to set guards to artifacts that can give anyone godlike abilities.

Zaros is from the 2nd Generation of Gods.

Or even the third, counting Jas - Guthix - Zaros - Zamorak as generations.

Yeah, that seems right. I wonder when Bandos came into the picture?

No clue really. Saradomin was there when Zaros fell, and the 'other gods' appeared and banished Zamorak because of his betrayal (he came back when he had consumed the power). The other gods might have been Armadyl and Bandos, as the God Wars broke out soon after and I think Bandos had the goblins then already.

EDIT: I just realized, reading the new journal part 24 in the update thread, that

Bilrach is freeing Zamorak, which means he must be trying to circumvent the Edicts of Guthix, right?

It seems that a lot of folks don't care much for the edicts in the first place.

Anyway, since both sides are trying to get their bosses back into power, if Bilrach is actually right and he's down there, it's only a matter of time before they face each other again.

We currently have the Stone of Jas and the Staff of Armadyl in the game. That's only two. Three is the magical number, so I think the third god artifact is going to be revealed soon.

Prepare for Second God Wars / Ragnarök / The End of Things.
