pityme
Ok, so since I'm going back to F2P for about a year, I have many questions to ask :P 1. This is my bank: Am I missing anything essential? Vials + Vials of water + Holiday stuff in other tabsAre GOP tokens 'tangible' objects in respect to the game? 2. I have a list of goals that I want to achieve before I become a member, all of which I shall be doing as I just do casual play -99 Str - SoS monsters90 Def - "90 Atk - "90 Cooking - Cooking what I fish (see below)85 Fish - Fishing at Karamja w/ noting all my fish80 Crafting - 54785 gold amulets @_@99 Firemaking - 88457 maple logs80 Magic - Superheating iron/steel bars, high alching what I can find75 Mining - Powermining iron in new resource dungeon, gold, coal, etc.85 Ranged - Ice Giants65 Runecrafting - Many airs/earths w/ FoG gloves (obtained as my break from grinding)90 Woodcutting - Yews/Willows75 Dungeoneering - Just World 1 TeamsSo I was wondering -Is this possible thru casual play for about a year, or am I setting the bar TOO high? Are my methods viable methods, or are there better methods?**I understand that some skills are just too tedious in F2P like 55k gold amulets l; but I don't mind really ;PHow long would 99 firemaking take considering I slack off somewhat? Thanks!
Troacctid
Don't cut yews for woodcutting; they're too slow. Just stick to willows. Don't mine coal either. For fishing/cooking, you're better off at trout/salmon, which should be faster xp for both skills. For firemaking, you can expect to burn ~1200 logs/hr, give or take. Youmu
Keep all GOP tokens, they are very handy for their cash. For runecrafting, I prefer not using gloves because of the extra profit that you can make. For ranged, minotaurs should also be looked at, but only if you exclusively use iron arrows. For woodcutting, maples are another alternative, but if you're a pro dropper, stick with willows. For smithing, I guess you can just superheat your way there. Never, ever w1 team unless you're 70+, and by then you should find clan chats for dungeoneering. Steph's clan chat has good people there. Troacctid
For woodcutting, maples are another alternativeNo, not really. They're pretty much useless in every way. You could chop them, but then again, you could also mine silver, or fish for herrings, or smith steel longswords. :geek: Read my blog | Follow me on Twitter | Track my XP

Try it, then try chopping/burning the willows right next to them. The willows will be faster in both skills by a very noticeable margin. Sinkhan
Let's clean up your bank first: You definitely don't need: ShearsHarpoonLobster PotWoolBananaDefence Ammy You have to realize that while you have the slots for them due to you having had a members account, you should try and cut down all the way to a sub 78 F2P item bank. So here are my suggestions for that: All Elemental StavesPure EssCoifAll robesMagic AmmySapphire NecklacesBalls of WoolDry/Soft ClayAll moulds except ammyTiaraChefs HatCopper and TinBoots Also check what you have in your other slots. I can already see that grain is in another tab, and that's F2P. The reason why you want to get to a sub 78 F2P bank is for dungeoneering and your lummy ring. You'll have to destroy it every single time. Also consider putting either your rune armour and/or green dragonhide armour into sets, since when you think about it, you don't really need both at the same time. Since you're going dungeoneering, I highly recommend you getting the maple longbow sight and then just straight up tank ranging in full rune. Something to fill my sig with until I find a replacement. Also check out my blug

The monsters that are the best to train on don't require you to be in full rune all the time, even less if you safespot. They'd be much easier if he just tanked ranged and didn't bother with safespots. Ah, well I put harpoon so that I could fish swordies as a higher level food for doing other activities such as pking ;P (is that ok), and um lobster pot for faster fishing than swordies but I guess i will fly fish for faster fishing exp/hr; I also put banana's so that I could get them from karamja so that when I go to members, I can use them for my curry tree seeds and fruit bats instead of buying them :P - Should I put the cooked trout/salmon in my bank after I fish/cook them or should I just drop? :P

I seriously doubt it, but am just going off gut here.

Big_Stingman
Personally, I would bank them. Now as to that being efficient or whatever, I don't know. But that is what I would do.

Karamja. How do you get there? Port Sarim boat. What's near there? Fishing store. Every time you have the feeling to go to Karamja for fishing, bring an extra 5-20 GP. Simple and easy. Banana's are only worth 200 GP each and they would take a pretty long time to bank. You'd be saving less than 70k an hour by collecting bananas. Just do yourself a favour and drop them now and buy them when you need them  Something to fill my sig with until I find a replacement. Also check out my blug
