The price on the street. Basically, junk trading. If item A is worth 2m in the GE, but people are willing to pay 10m for said item, then you'll trade them the mask (with a value of 2m) plus 8m of junk and they'll give you the 10m, and vice versa (if it's 10m in ge, but only worth 2m on the street, they'll put up 2m and 8m in junk, you put up the item).

what does "street price" mean?

Basically whatever price people are willing to pay.

 

I have a blue party hat, which is worth around 550m? in GE. But to other players (and merchants) it is valued much higher then that. Likewise sometimes the street price of items are much lower then their GE price, look at adamant arrows (p++) which are a drop from the zamorak boss. They cost like 1.2k each in the GE but how is going to pay that?

 

Basically people farmed level 3 clues and people found out they are not as rare as initially thought.
