jjjon123
I have some raw swordfish and tuna (and ill be getting more) from fishing in karajimba and I want to know if it would be better to cook them and risk burning (only 64 cooking) or just sell the raw ones and buy cooked ones and just cook the tuna. So actually I want to know how bad the burn rate is for swordfish at around 64 cooking. Feel free to suggest that I do lobsters, but give me the reason why. EDIT: id better put that im f2p bcuz some people dont know how to look at the "status". 1,000 F2P Total Level Reached 10/8/10 ! manitstinks
Yeah do lobsters because you get more tuna than swordfish and the average per hour is lowered. lobsters burn less than swordfish anyways so stick with it.
jjjon123
I know that the fishing xp is lowered per hour but is the money lowered? Lobsters are only 215 gp while tuna is 91 and sword fish is 472, so id have to get 17 tunas for every 8 swordfish to lose money. I am banking both the swordfish and tuna, cooking the tuna for xp and saving for pvm and safe pvp, and saving the swordfish for dangerous pvp (swordfish > lobsters). I did say i would be willing to switch the raw swordfish to cooked swordfish and buy tuna for cooking xp too.The only reason i will switch to lobsters is if someone knows if you can fish lobsters faster than tuna/swordfish. PS. I know i said to feel free to tell me to do lobsters, i appreciate the input, im just asking quedtions i have, not trying to be mean  1,000 F2P Total Level Reached 10/8/10 ! So for every 100 fish, you get 40 swordies and 60 tuna ((40*472)+(60*91)=24,340), and for lobsters, for 100 fish, you'd get 100 lobsters, which would be (100*215) 21,500. Now, this is assuming you catch at the same rate, which I can't be for sure, so if you catch lobsters quicker than swordies/tunas, then lobsters would most likely be better, and factor in that you won't burn as many, so the rate would actually probably put lobsters in the lead. ~ Proud Father ~ Proud (Currently Deployed) Army National Guardsmen ~ Proud Lakota ~ Retired Tip.It Crew ~
Troacctid
I'm pretty sure swordfish are better nowadays. Generally, though, they're pretty close in both profit and xp and they fluctuate all the time, so it shouldn't be a big deal if you end up picking the wrong one...although I'll warn you, neither is all that good for profit even in F2P, so don't get your expectations too high. That's a pretty egregious misspelling of Karamja there, by the way. Read my blog | Follow me on Twitter | Track my XP

I'll probably do some testing to see if i can catch lobs faster tho. 1,000 F2P Total Level Reached 10/8/10 !
