Skill pures.......

Can someone tell me the point in these please. I mean if you already have an account why not use the time you use creating the pure, e.g. a pure RCer, why not use the resorces/time into your own main and get a good lvl on that so that you are higher on the high scores rather than being the only lvl 3 combat with 99 RC

But I totally agree with you that I would rather have that xp going to my main. The only reason I think that people want pures, is for PKing. Or to brag to everyone how they are so good at one thing, and have all kinds of money to buy other stuff, essentially they are just show off's trying to get attention.

yeah multi-pures are only good for selling(not saying its right)

 

 

 

Pking is pointless to pure though, if u are going pking u take more than 3 items and only idoits go and attack lvl 23's in full rune

i think the only pure that is useful is for mining because you have to go into the wildy to mine rune so being a low level will mean you woundn't get pked

there was a thread about this elsewhere, i think help and advice(where this will probably get moved) just to clarify for anyone who may be mistaken, he isnt talking about pures. He's talking about pure SKILLERS, as in a character with all base stats and really high woodcut, or really high fishing, (or possibly really high cooking), or high mining. As the previous poster suggested, i can only see a decent enough reason for it in mining, but i cant understand why people do it for the other skills? The only reason i could think would be a botting account so that peoples mains dont get banned?

My main is a skiller, i have no other accounts but my lvl 3 main (look him up on high scores if you wish 'thagern') most skillers do it for fun and a challenge.

yea but i have seen this guy who has combat 3 and has got to lvl 50+ RC by only making air runes, i would say his name but it whould get taken out by mods so there is no point. But i think doing that is really pointless, i mean he will have about 100k air runes and thats it, cant even do wind strike with them, and also he could just use that usefull invention, the air staff

you only have to wory about half the population then(under lvl 50).

I find that having a lv 3 pure is fun, more fun than my main at times, especially when I embarass people cause a level 3 knows more than them.
