Cheefoo
According to the Knowledge base, void range and melee set bonus gives +10% accuracy and damage. For void range, I've heard it was actually something like 20% increase, and I've seen quite a bit of evidence. I've also heard the same about void melee, but I never really thought about it, and wasn't entirely sure. So I was wondering, does anyone have any idea if this is true, does void melee set increase damage by 20%? I've seen a few max hit videos on youtube, and they seem to be hitting higher in void than the supposed "10% damage boost" would allow. JohnTheCop
tbh i dont think void melee does that much but thats just me and it may but the extra damage youll take isnt really worth it "Happiness depends more on the inward disposition of mind than on outward circumstances."Benjamin Franklin "Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."Albert Einstein
Surprise
As the person above said, the problem with the melee armour is what bonus you get from hitting higher is lost as the monster will hit you more and harder therefore meaning you waste more money on prayer or food or both. To answer your question so I'm not viewed as a troll or flamer it is a 20% increase in damage dealt: "The melee helm grants the player a +20% bonus towards Attack and melee damage." Cheefoo
Yes, I know how void works, I have it myself, I was just looking for someone to confirm if it boosts damage by 10% or 20%. Standard_Pix, thanks for the link, but I'm not 100% sure if I can trust the wiki. They don't seem to have any real evidence, and I can't be sure someone didn't edited in the wrong information. What I'm looking for is personal experience, or some type of hard evidence as to what the damage boost really is. Hegelstad
Read the knowledge base. However, its proven that void range gets about a 20% dmg increase, this is because, it gives a 10% dmg boost + a 10% ranged lvl boost, and higher ranged lvl means higher damage = ~20% increased. The KB is the very last place you'd want to look for any information about Runescape whatsoever. Come to think of, there really isn't a single source of all-encompassing, credible RS information. OT: I've never heard anything about the ACTUAL bonus of void melee being higher than 10%, so I can't help you. This post is basically spam. To put it bluntly, [bleep] off. Kidd_Varrow
According to tip.it's max hit calculators, void range boosts max hit by 20% and void melee boosts it by 10%.
