September 20, 201015 yr There are two different challenges in elite clues- scan and compass clues. Scan clues have a different inventory icon, so you will know right away. Compass clues have the same inv icon as any other clue, but when you open them, they will show a compass of which direction the casket is. First to 99 Farming on 27. September, 2005.First to 3766 Port Score on 20. March, 2014.First to 4664 Port Score on 2. March, 2015.
September 20, 201015 yr The scan clues have a magnifying glass thing hanging from it, so you can immediately tell that it's an elite clue, but there are also compass clues which look exactly like regular clues. So it is wise to always check out the clue, if it's not a scan or compass clue, it's not an elite. Also you only need a spade for elite clues, no sextant, watch or chart needed.
