First of all, Hello Tip.it! I've posted in here a few years ago!

 

Anyways, I'm not sure if this is the correct area, if it is not, I would appreciate if someone can move it to the right place.

 

Either way, I am here to share my experience about DT.

 

I decided to do DT to get Ancient Magicks so I can do barrowing with the house teleporting trick, and so there were 4 bosses, after defeating the ice guy and dracula guy, things got funny from there.

 

I was fighting Fareed, many guides say he is the easiest boss, but I suffer a huge blow from him and died, terribly, losing my D Boots, and I was scared of fighting Damis, if Fareed is able to kill me, Damis, the hardest boss, at least what the guides say, will kill me in no time.

 

So I brought LOTS of sharks and LOTS of Prayer pots, and guess what.

 

I ended up taking a DOSE of prayer pot, and eating a shark, though I shouldn't take that dose of prayer pot anyway, because I had LOTS of prayer left over.

 

What I did was safespot him, and within 10 seconds or so I manage to be free from every single enemy, including Damis.

 

Just a dose of a prayer pot and a shark, and defeated Damis.

 

Do you guys experience this funny experience before?

Ahhh don't remind me of the old days! I miss them soo much :( i remember i got scammed by DD'ers in lvl 1 wildy. 4 lvl 54 with Ancient's............ After that day i started pking with mah friends, it was so great!

 

OT: I agree, the guide is totally misleading. The Ice boss is by far the hardest, easily. Second the Vampire. Then Fareed. And the shadow boss is easiest. Safespot or use snare on him. While praying melee.

On the topic of wilderness clans, have anyone else ever been lured before?

 

A couple times I was f2p pking at castle (obviously pre dec 2007), I'd see a guy with trimmed rune, not the full set, just a kite or something, but he was skulled. One time, I decided to attack him, but he started running north, and silly me I didn't figure it out. Once it became multi combat, BOOM! 25 fire blasts came my way, and in about 2 seconds I was killed.

 

After that, I learned. Another time, I actually killed one of the lurers and got his rune G legs before falling victim to binds and fire blasts again :cool:

Yeah the ice boss is the most pots/food intense one, lots of restore pots...

Actually I found Fareed quite simple. It was because I ran, fire waved, ran a short distance, fire waved, and repeated. Doing this killed him in no time.

 

But yes I did find Damis to be difficult at first because I didn't bring enough prayer pots.

when i did dt, the ice boss was easy, but getting to him was the hardent part of the quest ARRGH!! :wall:

 

shadow boss was intresting, a rever ran out of prayer but man did i use a lot of ppots!

 

blood boss nearly killed me, only one that did so. but that was my mestake tbh.

 

smoke was also kinda easy, not really a chalenge, at least not the torch part (had like 100 terror bird scrolls, bunch of run pots, and exsplorsers ring 3. uses none of them XD)

 

 

i now i have had times like the first post sayd, thing sortof being backwars, but i cant really remeber any... lol

Hm I remember doing this quest a long time ago. All I remember is I died at some boss in a cave, whichever one that was...lol.

Man I just took ONE DOSE of prayer pot at Damis, the cave guy, just safespot, I never get why it's so hard.

 

And yeah the ice boss is easy, but getting to him is as hard as monkey madness or worse.

 

The vampire is the hardest one tbh, Fareed killed me because of carelessness.

Kamil was hardest for me, then Dessous, then Damis, then Fareed.
