Ive even made the current homepage banner for the Runescaperealm.com homepage. Here are jsut a few of my sigs ive made in the past. Please rate :D those are jsut a few. Not nessecary my best work but jsut some i could find on my computer. Some were made for me (gunz/j_lyle77) and some were sold on RSR. Rate please! For example This one involved brushing than a render put on. Then a colour layer and the render set to luminosity. THen brightness contrast layer. Then Text set before colour balance and brightness/contrast layer. THen text rasterized and a perspective used. With it set to overlay. Also a dotted pattern to the outside corner. All i said was i didnt like that syle. if u want to flame me fine then I never said it was easy, it can be hard getting it to come out right but yes i can do all that If you make your own renders/bg's thats good, kudos to you your better than the most people who rip off google. Or hue/sat ctrl+u THen brightness contrast layer Once again Image>adjustments>Brightness/contrast Then Text set before colour balance and brightness/contrast layer. Ok i can agree getting awesome text can take some time to perfect but nothing to brag about as its not the focal point of your piece THen text rasterized and a perspective used Right click layer(i believe thats right) click rasterize so it allows you to do more things to the text layer and perspective is ctrl+t (transform) right click perspective and add some layer styles to it for shading/shadows/glows/strokes/etc With it set to overlay On the layers pallete clicking belnd(or watever it is) and click overlay I'm just saying i dont like the syle as it is normally two googled images slapped on top of each other with blend modes and some text. It requires SOME skill but you never get invovled. Good for you on making the renders/bg's yourself (not sarcastic) but as for the focal point characters they are most likly googled. Create one where you made everything no copying and pasting and ill reconsider. Try creating one with a background along with a character that reflects the game.That is a lot better. I won't lie and say it doesn't look cool but artisticly that syle sux im not saying you suck so dont flame me. im personally just not a fan of that style. But since you challenged me to make one i will wont be as good cuz i never make them but ill do a pretty good one since you challenged that i could not whew....just try a different style. Photoshop can do so much more than filters and blending modes....the possibilities are unlimited!! Also All of them are brushed from scratch and if you hadnt notice they are all different styles. Styles for sigs include: Grunge, Abstract, Pixel stretch, tech, no brush, filter grunge, soft grunge, vector etc. There are different sigs there of all different styles so i dont get what you mean. Im not flaming i jsut dont understand. Also here are 2 that dont jsut have brushwork and a render slapped on. This is a no brush technique. There is no brushing cuz thats the style. this is a weird style that i dont know what to call it. Its basicly a render in the text. I dont get what you mean by the same style. I just don't like that abstract grunge stuff whether you make it or get the render yourself. It looks cool sometimes yeah, but there's 2 much of it like the pixel art here on tip.it and it takes away from the true artists who do that who really excel and are something very unique. I don't really know what to define style as but its not that Now if your not using copyrighted images thats cool...I'm just saying i rarely use other peoples work. Most images i use like that are photo's i took myself or found off stock photography (which i rarely use). Its just my forte. Check out http://www.climb-x.com . Thats one good gfx site . Look in their Show Off section . Now thats hard . Id like to see you do them . The art here on tip.it is nothing . Broaden your horizons . True , i would say there are alot of great gfx'ers here . But , they can only do so much as to improve the art scene here . You have to educate the people who WANT those signatures . Its not use arguing with the artist . Also , everyone has a different perspective . You might think that your perspective is the only and only correct one . Your wrong , dead wrong . Everyone's likes and dislikes are different . As is their skills . You cant condemn them . Its not easy to do signatures like guns does . Yeah sure , there might be alot of styles , but one can only excel at what hes good at . I would do vectors myself , if i could afford a better version of photoshop/ illustrator . A man is limited to what he can do by his tools . Im sorry if i hurt anyone's feelings in the process of this post . I just had to say all this .
