Well before the pixel craze started, the reason I liked them because is they looked differant and cool. Now that every single noob has one and they have lost their lust, I've decided to break away from the mold. I still respect the GOOD pixelers but those are few and far between. I am not saying pixels suck, but we really need some diversity on tip it. So this one is for you GSW. This is my 2nd sig ever, first being current which will be replaced as soon as i can get my new one small enough for this site.

When Pixel started to spread, there was a antipixel movement which was attempted. People made "antipixel sig shops", antipixel sigs, and so forth, but clearly it takes a bit more than propaganda to stop the spread of something here.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Just make the style you like, as long as you're enjoying what you make, at least you know you have the choice to make what you want. Maybe the forums have too much of something you don't like, but that's life, can't get everything to be as you'd like it to be.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Nice sig, the animation is good but the bottom left text is a bit too simple.

Nice Sig I have to agree alot of people do have pixel signatures,avatars etc, But I like the uniqueness that Pixel signatures have. I really like your sig but like MXM said the text is slightly simple.

firstly 'any noob' can't actually make a pixel of any quality, so even if seen with one people think little to nothing of it

So yes they may be out there, but as with any style for every 1 good example that people actually like there are like 100 bad ones made by any noob that barely qualify as an image let alone an artt such as pixel

Sigh, I didn't mean to "offend" anyone with the first post, I am just saying diversity is nice. Btw the number of bad pixel sigs are tenfold of what semi decent ones are. The animation is too fast i think and I am going to slow it down. Unfortunately I am using the photoshop in my photography class and I can only work on it for about an hour a day. This took me less than three days, today was trying to figure out how to upload it and such. If the text is too simple, C/C please?

I've got to say I also am not a big fan of pixel art. There are those few on these forums (Godslayer, mxm, etc.) who make pixels very well but there's too many people with little to no skill trying to make pixel art and slaughtering it.

I have to agree there are many salughtering it, but there are many I think who are not quite there yet, but have the potential to be good.

Yes there are a few with potential but it gets very annoying to see almost every post have the word "pixel" in it... I like seeing people show their true skills rather than copy everyone else... :?

Pixels have a great uniqueness to them, and no matter how much they try someone cannot steal anyone elses style. Where as abstract and all that rubbish, its easy to just dowload a few brushes, get a render, and pump out yet another sig from the noob factory. Get what I mean?

Yeah I am experimenting alot. 3d render vectoring etc juts blargh can't do. Burshing I think I got um a natural nack for it, so can't be bothered to practice that widely. Pixeling i think I got potential if I keep working

I was thinking to myself earlier "Oh man im going to make this post, and ill be the most popular kid and everyone will copy me and ill have lots of friends!!!!!!".
