they give 5-24, so i'd assume a little more than 10 per kill.

But judging by your signature, they're not really worth mining.

If doing living rock creatures for a slayer task I get about 10 times the task size in living rock minerals, I use that number to estimate the number of creatures left on the task and it's usually not far off. I never kept score, so I don't know the average precisely.

If you decide to kill living rock creatures for any reason, if you are able to mine them it's almost always worth. Consider this:

 

 

time mining one: 5 seconds (safe estimation, most of the time I got them almost instantly) --> 12 LRC / min --> 720 / hour

assume 9 minerals / LRC (safe estimation)

price of a mineral: 350 (safe estimation, current price 389 ea)

 

So with a safe estimation it's 720 * 9 * 350 = 2.2 M gp / h

 

It's probably a lot higher. Because mining them also make them spawn faster so you can stay at one convenient spot, so you lose less time walking between spawns, it could be even higher, but never tested that.

You can also mine them between hitting the next one, effectively wasting no time at all if you click properly.
