The buttons on Youtube won't work in firefox.

Like the search button or the show more details button.

 

Also the videos on the sidebar won't load their preview picture.

I can watch videos just fine but if I go to someones profile it says,

"Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player."

 

I have the latest Flash player, and I have re updated it several times. Also, JavaScript is turned on.

 

Anyone have any idea what is going on?

 

Everything works fine in Opera though.

Try google chrome is just so much better, and get this extension too! Its alot better than the Rs toolbar =)

I don't really feel like switching.

I don't play runescape.

I've had problems with YT aswell, and I use Google Chrome. They're very similar to your problems, but also the video is either refusing to load or crashing when switching qualities.

 

I don't think it's our PCs as such, but probably just YT itself.

Clear cache first and then try a complete reinstall of Flash.

That didn't work.

Might be some troubles on youtubes side because they are experimenting with HTML5

I have Firefox 3.6.7 on this computer and I do not have problems with Youtube. I do on Firefox 4b6 though.
