I just scanned my data partition with MSE and almost all my exe files came up with that virus. What does it do? I haven't found anything working wrong on this pc at all...

Win32/Almanahe.B is a virus that replicates via network shares. It install a rootkit on the system and can download and execute arbitrary files.

Microsofts Encyclopedia gives some info, removal advice.

Call me lazy but rather than fussing around with removing a rootkit, I'd rather go with a clean install instead. They're nasty otherwise.

EDIT: OP, once you do remove the rootkit, get something better than Microsoft Security Essentials, please! :( Avast is pretty good and it's free.

Microsoft Security Essentials is pretty good. The fact that this virus got caught proves it.

Just uninstalled Avast prior to scanning, never picked it up.

EDIT: This is 3rd day after fresh install.
