Construction and farming help

Con: If I were to train with butlers does it matter if the bedrooms are on the second floor or the first? And do I need the dining room with that rope near my kitchen if I were to train with larders?

Farming: I've been playing it safe with herbs and planting snaps in My Arms and avantoes in the other 4 with the scroll of life. Should I take that risk and plant snaps in all of the patches? When I unlock torstols should I do the same, or like wait a couple of levels before doing it?

For the butler, the floor does not matter, the bell helps so you don't need to go off finding him when you first enter your house, but simply talking to your butler will make him follow you, and when he returns from the bank, he returns right next to you.

For farming, yes it's worth it to plant snaps in every patch, but when you get torstol that's best left to My Arm's patch. Torstol still profits on average in the other patches, but not as much as snaps do just because of how much of a loss it is when it dies. Snaps though are the best profit/patch possible (last I checked, anyway), taking deaths into account.

One note: torstol is over twice the xp.

There's a link to a price calc for herbs in my farming guide (linked in sig).

But with a scroll of life, you should always plant snaps/torstol.
