A few more questions from an Old New player.

So after returning today and recovering my account i saw that 95% of my bank was missing. I went from a ~400m bank to a ~30m bank due to a hacker that was really bad at PK'ing. Anyway money is no problem as i have been an unwealthy player many a time but always managed to pick myself up. What really annoyed me was the fact that my Fire Cape was missing. A cape i was proud of having with an internet connection that has a 0.50MB/S Download speed. Anyway. I'll probably attempt to get it back again sometime in the not too distant future. Is Jad still straight up like it used to be? Can i still just use D'hide, Rune Xbow with Diamond (e) bolts or is there now an easier, faster way? Feel free to suggest the more expencive ways too as i could always make a bit of money before i do the caves. And then it seems my dear hacker has brought me within 24 QP's of While Guthix Sleeps. I assume this is still a good way of making money? The Demons i mean.

With RuneCrafting, a skill i very much enjoy despite my low level of 72, ZMI is still the fastest and Natures still most profitable?

Then with Mining. I seem to have aqquired the Varrock Armour (3) thanks to the guy who hacked me. How will this speed up my mining? And where will i go? Will concentrated Coal be best till 78 and then Gold till 99?

All i can think of now. Thanks in advance.

Tds are good money, rc sucks for money, ZMI is the fastest xp, granite until 80 then congold if you want smith xp.

As for Jad, you can outhit several healers if you melee (all of them if you're maxed etc.). You can also claw him with soul split + vengeance + maxed gear + ovl. Takes around 6 seconds :P.

I really don't think that last sentence will make any sense to someone who hasn't played in a while

Uhhh hell no. He almost got pwnt. It's a lot safer just sticking to Ranging Jad then. That's the way i enjoy it anyway. But i heard having a Saradomin Bow will make the Caves a lot easier seeing as the Special Heals? But those must be pretty costly and hard to get, right? Guess i'll just stick to what has worked the best for me. SoulSplit, Dhide, V Helm, Zammy Book, D Boots, Fury, Barrows Gloves and Extreme Ranging Potions. Will also be using Broad Bolts with a Rune CrossBow and Diamond (e) for Jad then. This still is pretty much the standard setup i assume? Oh and oc course i'll take my Whip + Rune Def for the waves up untill the 360's come out and play.

Beating seers diary hard/elite will give you a sword that has a (probably) better healing effect w/o the slight prayer restore I think the saradomin bow has. Anyways, the saradomin bow is a bow, and in the caves a crossbow is typically your weapon of choice. And there's always Guthans for some healing if you want, not like that's anything new.

Don't bother with guthans. If you want to range the caves, that's very possible, but melee is faster. I'm not sure if you already know this but you can get a Jad slayer task to make things quite a bit faster and easier.

What I recommend: max offence gear (bandos, berserker (i), defender, rapier etc. with fsh or neit) and just melee all the way. Then bring range top + legs + handcannons (2) for Jad. Handcannons have high damage and long range, but of course they blow up, hence bring 2.

For ranging, elite void + acp if you have high defence, since you'll have to tank the 90's. With proper luring that shouldn't be much of a problem though.

EE/EEE is hands down the best spec weapon for ranging the caves. The specials heal 200 and 400 respectively and boost defence, and they take no time, unlike the saradomin bow.

Hmm sounds great but you lost me on a few things.

EEE? Upgraded version of the EE?

And Elite Void?

And i doubt i;ve done the quest for the Handcannon yet, but i'll get to that before i go Jad.

And i actually forgot about the Caves as a task. I think i might actuall wait till i get a task before i attempt to get the cape back. I can only imagine what the extra bonus of the Full Slayer Helm does.

EEE is indeed the upgraded version requiring elite tasks (92 herblore for xrange being a particularly expensive task to complete).

Elite void has a prayer bonus. With a deflector you use only the legs, together with a ranged chestpiece. Normally that'd be +6 prayer with a fury and acp, with elite, +10. Of course you can use a sw cape and some cheap ammo like broad bolts to boost your prayer bonus a ton. Of course you wouldn't use void on task.

HC requires the latest dwarf quest Forgiveness of a Chaos Dwarf. I wouldn't recommend doing the caves with it unless you got 99 fm. Only Jad is fine though.

I might try do Seer's elite then. The herb requirement won't be a problem seeing as i already have 99 Herblore. And also i doubt with my 95 Prayer i'd need to go much over +15 Prayer bonus. I usually only start praying once the 360's come out, the rest of the way is no prayer. No prayer is really needed for them if i have an EE (and hopefully soon an EEE).

I'll probably start doing some quests next week Monday and get cracking on the requirements for the Hand Cannon (i want to start WGS soon anyway)

Anyhow, thank you very much for all the help. You've been great!

Also for rcing ZMI is still the best exp but deaths are not the most profitable since nat runes took a huge dive in price.

Is that Gorgoroth/Slaytanicc?

If so, glad you're back. I made extensive use of your Avianses guides back in the day.

Do all quests and acheivement diaries (now tasks or some other bs).

Look up about effigies. They're basically skill lamps with skill requirements

Dung weapons are useful for virtually all combat, not just training slayer.

ALL monster spots have more competition now, but maxed with turmoil and overloads you'll be fine.

You can still do jad the normal way, he hasn't been changed.

good luck!
