Jadinko hunting

Hey guys,

 

Where'd be the best spot for putting up marasamaw plant traps when hunting jadinkos in the main area (i.e. where the common jadinkos are)? My hunter sucks, so I was also wondering whether these are worth doing for experience. I can only lay 4 traps, by the way.

I assume larupia gear doesn't work (as the region has its special camouflage, anyway), but it requires 80/81 hunter, I think. So the best choices would be to use scentless potions and arctic bear-familiars, right?

Larupia gear doesn't work. The vodoo gear takes its place.

To hunt jads just find spot where there is a bunch and set up a row.

When you catch one they respawn in the same spot.

As for which to hunt, I'd go after the ones that help you make the scentless pot.

Then you can use that to cover for your low level.

Also use the hunter summons if need be.

Draconic Jads are the best xp ones.

You can catch Jadinko's you don't have the level for using pots/Oo'glog. That way you can unlock full withdoctor at 73 hunter though it'd be a huge pita and better attempted at 74 or 75.

The ones to hunt for the scentless pots have to be tracked, not trapped so they can take a while. Other than that yeah ^
