Bandos: Is the 11% soak of the max hit of 300 and sarg hit superior to the +12 range, +10 mage def, +2 Str of the DFS. Zammy: DFS for tank unless argued otherwise, drag defender for attackers. Arma: DFS unless proven otherwise. Sara: Use defender in teams, in solo(range or melee), does bree outdamage Zil in hits you would have gained from more defense +33 slash. TheAncient Posted December 15, 2010 Share Posted December 15, 2010 Depends on how willing you are to risk DFS is almost certainly superior to Obby shield in all cases if risk is not a concern, EVEN with the 10% soak. HOWEVER, obby shield has a major advantage (not having to risk 1 slot) Ever wanted to find street prices of RS items? Crossed_Body Posted December 18, 2010 Share Posted December 18, 2010 Obby shield wins at bandos. Almost the same ranged defence, plus the soaking. Most of the damage you're taking is ranged damage from Graardor's attack (>300) and his ranged minion. DFS is rendered useless at bandos. Never been to the other bosses, so I won't discuss them.
