Naraku893
Which set of robes do you think i should use for barraging rock lobsters? Ahrims has mage bonus but battle robes has a change of saving runes. I will be using a staff of light, so does staff of light's effect stack with battle robes effect? or should i go with just mage bonus
muggiwhplar
Battle robes. Ahrims set has BARELY more magic attack than battle robes. At rock lobs, there's no significant difference between +70 magic attack and +120.

Lacoste
To add on to what muggi said, b robes and staff add up to around half of your runes saved.

I remember hearing somewhere that SoL + Battle robes save runes 55 or 60% of the time?
Quyneax
The staff of light has a 15% chance to save all runes you would have used, rising to 50% when also using the full set of battle robes. The battle robes themselves have a chance to save combat runes (e.g. death, blood) and it all adds up to 60% or so. If you like FOG, battle robes. If you don't care much about it but don't mind it, do it if you make up to ~1m/hr. If you hate it, Ahrim's. Quyneax
Eh, just an estimate. You can recharge the robes in x hours, or you can make money in those x hours. Battle robes last for 8 hours barraging (I think) and you'd cast about 6000 spells in that time? So you'd have to make 3k casts worth of money in x hours for Ahrim's to be equal to battle robes. Losing Games above says 1.2m, by the way.
