epitaph_o
I am currently in the process of training Dungeoneering to 80 and have the shadow silk hood and sagittarian bow/ammo bound. Should I unbind the sagittarian bow for a melee weapon at my stats? I plan on gradually training melee and becoming less of a "tank." I assume I should never unbind the shadow silk hood but could someone confirm this? I have 75 attack, 74 strength, and 99 range.
ghjkl
Yes a melee weapon is much better.
Sy_Accursed
Yeah melee bind is win. Its cheap and easy to churn out runes for maging.Rangning most power come from the arrows, which you have bound as ammo, and you can range in melee any armour quite easily and its cheap n easy to make bow. Where as its cost to chrun out a decent melee wep when needed and melee will pwn most monsters in dg aside from bosses. Sir_Squab
Yes a melee weapon is much better. Take a look at his sig. 75 att/99 range. I'm pretty sure a hexhunter is better then a katagon 2h. Honestly, if you want a melee weapon, I'd say either get your smith up for a good katagon one, or your attack up so you can get a good melee weapon. Squab unleashes Megiddo! gremmy
Definitely not worth unbinding such a rare and good drop at your melee levels. You'd need at least 90 attack for promethium weapons imo. All_Is_Great
With 75 melees, I doubt that would be better than 99 range with a hexhunter. Plus, hexhunters are very rare, and imo they're worth using for that reason.
Hedgehog
I'd say to go with a 2h, since you have the advantage of using multiple styles, which would certainly be more beneficial than the potentially higher dps of the bow.
epitaph_o
Oops I said I had hexhunter but I actually have sagittarian bow/arrows. I edited my first post.
