Slayer_Jesse
Tip-Iter tales? Wuzzat? Basically, you tell your adventures in RS in a short story format. I'll tell my story here, and I invite you to post yours as well, or to post a new thread with the Tip-Iter tales tag.(Mods, Im posting this here instead of the library as it describes actual game events. I'd like it to remain here if possible.) [spoiler=Note to Germans: ]I'm not German myself, and i used babelfish to translate the title.(initaly) if anyone has a 2nd opinion, let me know. My tale begins with myself deciding to kill Commander Zilyana after a string of bad luck with General Graador's drops. This story nearly ended before it began, as I was unable to find a group and nearly went back to Bandos before i spotted an advertisement in the forums of Runescape for, and I quote, "NEED PRO SARA TEAM 130+!!" I quickly signed up. Our team leader asked if we had Skype accounts. I replied that I had made such an acquaintance several years prior, but had not maintained contact. I re-established my connection to Skype and went forth on our mission. One of our compatriots was of German ancestry, so out of courtesy we ventured into the German realms of Runescape. Nothing truly interesting happened for some time, so we passed the time by chatting amongst ourselves. We had been slaying the Commander for nearly two hours when Runescape froze. "Damn lag..." I grumbled. But the lag didn't stop. I had soon lost connection, and my party members had also. Worse, Zilyana was due to be resurrected by the All-mighty Saradomin in less than thirty seconds.I tried to appeal to the gods with my prayers, and requested that my unicorn companion attempt to heal me with due haste. We finally regain connection a full minute later. I log back in to see one grave on the ground, another mate running for dear life from the Commander, and oh yeah, MYSELF DYING. I wake up in Lumbridge with a massive headache, claws of the dragon, tassets of a Big High War God, and a rather angry onyx amulet. "Hey, wait a minute! Where's my chaotic longsword!?!" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lLWwWsM22eY Oh wait... my grave is blessed for a full hour? PHEW. After talking with my compatriots I was able to piece together what happened. After the World's failure, one of the men was saved by a magical diamond ring that teleported him away. The second man i saw die. After I died, the German was the last man standing. He managed to bless my grave, tried to bless second man's but only had enough prayer for 7 minutes, and then died himself, with no-one left to bless him. His heroic sacrifice shall always be remembered. The total loss of this escapade? One chaotic longsword, One chaotic maul, Two fire capes, the majority of a Verac the Defiled's armor set, and numerous other small items. Three fine adventurers were felled, and one barley escaped with his life. After re-gearing at the Bank of Runescape, our leader and myself made our way back to God Wars Dungeon. As soon as we enter, I see another person die. I bless his grave since I have spare prayer restoring potions. I also see a man in the armor of Ourgs, and a Godsword of Armadyl and nothing else. I quickly realize that he too fell victim to the world crash. As we get killcount back, our leader gets a phone call over Skype. It turns out that the account he is on is not his own, but rather that of a friends. Said friend is none too happy about the loss of his chaotic weapon and other gear. I can do nothing but shake my head and laugh. We regain access to the Headquarters of Saradomin to retrieve my equipment. I right click on my grave and quickly realize i have no idea what I'm picking up... Because its written in German. Oh. Crap. Cue five minutes of panicked running, nearly dying again, running to grave and picking up all i can, and finally killing Zil again. We teleport out, leaving several potions behind rather than trying to figure out of what type they were. All in all, an interesting day. Erebus
The has to be : "Ein deutsches Unglück: Blutbad im Verlies der Götterkriege".But I think: "Ein Unglück auf deutscher Welt oder eher ein Blutbad im Verlies der Götterkriege" would be much better.
