Sheep Tails
To start with, combat is not my best area. I'm kind of a noob when it comes to that and most of my stats are through quests and random killing sprees. So, what would be the simplest efficient way to train these stats? As in, an efficient method that dosn't involve going all out to buy equipment and unlock things and so on? Attack (63-70)Strength (64-70)Defense (60-65) For the record, I have 49 slayer, but I find tasks ridiculously hard. I mean, my current task is killerwatts and I managed to kill about 45 before running out of food :/ So slayer advice too please? XD Thanks in advance to anyone who answers ^^ EDIT: I haven't done smoking kills either :D Follower of GuthixThe quill is a miracle, for it drinks darkness and sheds light. NastyJenny
Killerwatts are just out of place monsters in the slayer skill, they are ridiculousy hard for the level they are unlocked at... Isolated boots and d'hide works best if i remember correctly, or even better since you didn't do smoking kills yet : burthope the task Roughly around your stats i trained for a while at Flesh Crawlers in the stronghold of security, xp seemed fast back then and the drops decent. Sheep Tails
All right, thanks. And killerwatts are ridiculous, I wore the boots and red d'hide and got hit like crazy. I think I'll enjoy the liberty of Burthope for now hehe ^^ Thanks for the flesh crawler tip. Ought to help:) Follower of GuthixThe quill is a miracle, for it drinks darkness and sheds light. Guy
Level 50 spiders in the SoS on the 3rd level are auto attack, and are pretty good xp, but have no drops.Maybe you could even go to rock crabs or experiments? Those are pretty old options from when I was around that level, but I'm sure they're still decent. Hamstie
You could also try out pest control on the 40+ boat if you are into pest control ;)

Quyneax
[hide]The base slayer gear is as follows (alternatives in brackets):[For all slayer monsters except those mentioned under other weapons] Chaotic rapier (whip)Bandos body + legs (Verac's skirt with either fighter torso or proselyte top)[Depending on prayer/accuracy needs] Fire cape/Soul Wars cape/Ardougne cloak 3Barrows gloves (your best rfd gloves, at least rune)Dragon boots (rune boots)Amulet of fury (glory)Dragon defenderBerserker ring (i)/ferocious ring if slaying in Kuradal's Dungeon (berserker ring, warrior ring)[Most important] Full slayer helmet.[For magic defence on waterfiends/aquanites] Karil's top and elite void skirt (black dragonhide body and chaps)[Crush attacks to use on waterfiends] Chaotic maul (Saradomin sword, Zamorakian spear)[stab attacks for higher-levelled dragons, when not using rapier] Korasi's sword (Zamorakian spear, leaf-bladed sword)Task-specific items such as mirror shields, antifire shields/potions, elemental shields, rock hammers, crystal chimesCannon (optional, up to personal preference)Slayer setups generally emphasise strength bonus, which increases the average damage of each succesful hit (slayer monsters usually having rather low defence, hitting is not a problem). Secondly, prayer bonus is important to keep the cost of prayer potions down (as you slay with piety on, to increase the speed of your kills. This is cost-effective and highly recommended). As a rule of thumb, +15 prayer bonus or above is good, but don't overdo it (anything above +25 is a waste). Defence and accuracy bonus are usually not fretted over (any defence bonus over 200 will do; if you get hit too often you should be using a protection prayer). Dagganoth, black demon, lesser demon, hellhound, bloodveld and spectre tasks should be cannoned, as it dramatically increases xp rates (although it costs a bit). Some notes on gear: You'll want a fury and a berserker ring before you get bandos plate, and get that before tassets. You'll want accuracy bonus on higher-levelled dragons; if using stab attacks (which you should) you can use the Ardougne cloak 3 which provides you with +6 stab and +6 prayer bonus. Torso + sw cape and fire cape + proselyte are common cheap top/cape combinations; the former is better. Some levels to get for slayer (in approximate order but I'm not sure on the summoning):68 summoning - bunyip81 dungeoneering (you need 2 million xp, which takes you to level 80, but allowing some tokens for the scroll of life) - rapier89 herblore (85 with a +4 stew boost) - extreme potions, superantifires95 prayer - turmoil and soul split88 summoning - unicorn96 herblore (91 with a +5 stew boost) - overload99 summoning - steel titanI'm sure I missed something but this is most of it.[/hide] Just remember that for later :P. For now, try this: dragon scimitar, defender (unlock it once you hit 65 atk & str), dragon plateskirt, rune platebody, glory, combat bracelet/rfd gloves, dragon/rune/climbing boots, random cape/ring. I'd get 70 attack first then borrow an ss from a friend to get 70 strength and buy a whip to get 70 defence. Use prayers and potions all the way, it speeds training up a lot. Sheep Tails
K thanks everyone. And thanks a ton for that slayer equipment list. I can't wear a lot of the alternatives but that's the point of the question :) Follower of GuthixThe quill is a miracle, for it drinks darkness and sheds light. Oh right, by the way, I'm a girl.
