I will either be buying this myself or asking for it for my birthday so: I want either Showbiz by Muse (only album of theirs I don't have yet) or a Daft Punk album. I have it narrowed down to Homework or Discovery. My favorite Daft Punk song is Harder Better Faster Stronger if that makes a difference; I don't own anything by Daft Punk yet. OR is there some absolutely awesome thing I need that's similar to Muse or Daft Punk?

 

Also, do you know of any stores that carry Daft Punk CDs? I looked at fye today and they've got a bunch of junk but I couldn't find Daft Punk there...

Showbiz isn't an amazing album in my opinion, I'd get a Daft Punk CD - Discovery (with H,B,F,S on it) is probably best because it contains many of their hits. Once you've listened to that album, I suggest you listen to Homework to discover the foundations of their work and more of a 'house music' feel to it.

I like the Daft Punk Alive album. It's a live album but it's still really great. You won't go wrong with Discovery though.

Torrent the music, and get something else worth $14 to be honest. Unless you're getting vinyl. regardless, Daft Punk is probly the way to go
