Bob192122
Hi i was just wondering since wilderness is coming back and stuff, I wanted to knwo what the best PKing build for a PKer. Im starting fresh with a new account so he's level 3 and I wanna PK with him a lot. And I honestly just don't know where to start. I want to own people like everybody else. Whats the best for low levels (Classify) Mid levels (Classify) and High Levels (Classify) what should my stats be at these levels. For PKing.I do have funds since free trade is coming back as well. If you need me to explain a little better just ask me. Thanks for the help!:)

Wait so can you classify what the range/str/mage/attack/etc should be at each column (low level ??-??) etc... IF you don't mind?
muggiwhplar
There's no "best" at any given level; it also depends on if you wanna be a killer or a survivor. By that I mean, do you wanna be a killer by constantly killing people as well as constantly getting killed yourself... ...or be a survivor-- constantly "win" fights-- never having to retreat, always making your opponent flee. You never die, but you also rarely get kills unless you can prevent your opponent from escaping the fight (meaning-- don't PK in Edgeville) I was a survivor on my main account before it got banned-- twas a maxed tank. Then I was a killer on this account for most of the time, staying at 1 def then moving up to 45 def after losing my main. Both are pretty fun styles, depending on your tastes. Idk how much this still applies, but before I leveled up past 45 defense, I'd PK with melee mostly and maxed out str bonuses (torso, fire cape, defender, etc.). My opponents were mostly 1 def pures... a lot of them would try to ice barrage me so I'd also bring range and it'd catch them by surprise (this was during the era where meleers would rather throw a temper tantrum and call mages farcasters rather than come prepared to fight). Since torso doesn't affect your ranged att bonus, sometimes I'd basically wear str-boosting gear, with dhide chaps and MSB and then finish people off with DDS specs (msb was too unreliable). It destroyed any 1 def pure lol Like I said, though-- there's not really a "supreme" build-- every type of PKing account has strengths and weaknesses. Your job should be to figure out what kind of build the majority of PKers have-- and then create a PKer that can destroy that build easily
Obtaurian
IMO, the best build is max combat. To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.

BeNiceOk
Okay found it! Haha, so what's the best tribrid? An Original Tribrid PureZerker PureVoid pure? Tribrid's are less about stats and more about physical switching. Don't get my wrong, stats are important, however even with the best stats if you cant switch for [cabbage] you will never be able to kill anything with a tribrid effectively. Your losses will also be greater and you have a higher risk of getting "out-lasted" if you cant do it correctly since you lose inventory spots for gear. BIG THING to remember is that while tribirding is powerful now, it will be heavily nerfed if the "in-combat rule" is changed to the way it was back in 08'. This means if you are a mage/ranger and farcasting, you can get tagged out of combat by another player. It is unclear if they are going to change this back, but if they do, tribriding (and mage specifically) will be much less effective in low wilderness 1v1. Some things to look at are Zerker pures, and Rune pures. Jagex also tends to favor melee, and these were both pure types that were popular back in 08'. Some questions you need to ask yourself:- Do you want to edge pk, or upper wilderness?- Do you want to hit alot & get hit alot, or tank & outlast?- Do you want to risk expensive equipment, or cheap low level items?- What are your switching abilities?- What is your internet like? If slower, you might want to keep lower level so losing gear is a small setback instead of losing 1M+ every time you die.
TheAncient
Generally a mage/melee hybrid is better than tribrids for pvp because magic can beat ranged when rangers are stripped of their karils/arma/ccbow. I've never really tested this but i've always wondered what an augury/rigour pure with 1str/1attack would be like. turmoil would be significantly weaker against them.
