January 6, 201115 yr I'm 83 range and would like to range some steel dragons, what would be the best setup for me? I'll probably kill them in the fortress north of the wilderness. I do have access to superantifires but are they necessary? (I can't think off the top of my head of what shield i could use that would boost my range att) Would the repair cost of Karils make it worth taking over black dhide? I don't do much dungeoneering, incase that sways anyones answer. Can't think of anything else, thanks in advance!
January 6, 201115 yr in terms of worst to best, full arma, black dhide, then karils. karils has lower range att bonus, and your not taking hits, so dont use it. use fsh if on task. use super antifires if u want to use a zammy book. id only use if you got alot of sup antifires premade tho. use rune (chaotic if u have it) crossbow, with diamond or ruby bolts. both of the specs work wonders on them. if thats too expensive for you, use broads. January 6, 201115 yr Not on task the best set up would be Void range helmFurySoul wars cape if using eagle eye, otherwise accumulatorDiamond bolts (e) > broad boltsArmadyl ChestplateElite Void BottomVoid deflectorRune CrossbowRanger bootsArcher's ring (i) Void Gloves Use super antifires staying out of melee range to negate all damage. Don't use ruby bolts e unless you have an eee to counter balance the specs damage on your life points. Personally i say broad bolts are the way to go. Also don't forget a one click tele just in case, two pieces of food for emergancies, range/extreme range pots, and prayer pots if youre praying eagle eye. They arent amazingly fast with range so praying eagle eye and using the best range pot you can is extremely recommended. Rubies + uni isn't something I can vouch for but hell, you can try it :).
