Dying in Dung

Recommended Posts

Hey, well title says it all, can anyone just give me some advice on how to stay alive longer in dungeons? I always find myself dying a minimum once and I feel it has significantly hindered my overall experience gained. I also seem to die twice as much when I key. So any advice is very greatly appreciated.

When you're entering rooms make sure to quickly scout ahead so you can anticipate what's going to happen in an incoming room, such as noticing that there may be a level 100+ ranger in there, but it won't be able to attack you because it is wandering in the corner of the room behind walls.

Also if you are ever clearing GDs don't be ashamed to lure one monster away from the rest of a group and kill it by itself where the others can't reach you (this is especially useful if you're currently the only one clearing a room.) and remember to top up your HP as often as possible especially when being called to other rooms

Despite these being basic tips hopefully they might be able to assist you when you dungeoneer again.

Without soul split survival is slightly harder but it shouldn't be the difference between no deaths and 2 deaths. Make sure you're not overstretching, avoid soloing 5:5 gd for example, the team should be there together.

Usually I just call for the team to do gd rooms, but I admit I do have a habit of not dropping gate stones outside of dangerous areas, also its more so running through rooms that I end up dying opposed to doing gds.

Praying, usually protect from mage, though sometimes range. Will prevent a lot of damage being done to you. Also if the keyer has just run through the room then you can ggs teleport to them in order to bypass the room (assuming they have it on them)
