SpikeStr1ke
Hello TIF, I know there is lots of these threads out there but i was looking for a TD setup now that i have Ext's and Uni. Im not super good at switching prayers or luring so i would perfer to take something that isnt going to be risking tons and tons of cash. Items i have:Verac helm/skitWhip/dds/Korasi's swordNeitiznot helmDragon defender/obby shieldDragon Boots/Snakeskin BootsBarrows GlovesGloryBlack d'hide top/chapsRune c'bow/handcannonBroad bolts/Diamond(e) bolts/Handcannon shotsRoL/Explorer 4Ardy Cloak 3/Skillcapes(t) (no sw cape so plz dont suggest it or tell me to get it as im not going to bother with that quest)
Nifflin
Get void, use it. I guess if you aren't up for buying anything new just go with rune crossbow and whip. Use dds for specs, d hally if you can unlock it. The soul wars cape takes an hour to get, totally worth it, I strongly suggest you do. Snakeskin boots, dragon defender. Broad bolts, rol. If you aren't good at prayer swapping or luring though, then don't TDS, those are the two most essential things to be good at to do them effectively. PM me in game anytime It's a lot easier then that for an idiot to sound smart on the internet. That's exactly what you're doing right now... just saying. SpikeStr1ke
Im willing to buy new things just not somethng thats going to cause me to risk a ton. I have the d hally unlocked and i have one but i've been told its a horrible weapon to use at td's. Im not getting SW cape because no matter what i try i cannot beat nomad. I"ve tried melee and range and still cant beat him until im 99 range or maxed melee's i refuse to continue with that quest. TD's are my only good way of making money because i forget to do my farm runs which ends up making me almost nothing plus i hate farming and im bored of slaying. Only gwd i have xp with is Zammy who i normally solo but dont make anything off of. Oh and dont suggest i dg for chaotics because i hate dung with a passion hints the reason im only 59 at the moment. Quyneax
Well for tds, the ranging is the slow bit, and melee the fastest (mage is pretty fast but requires autocast switching which sucks). So you want to work on ranged damage (void). If you got no void, expect somewhat slower kills. That being said, black hide, d boots, whip, defender, fury, neit, rcbow, barrows gloves, rol is a decent beginner's setup. Bladewing
first i will recommend working on ranged secondly, this is the gear i use when i use unicorn: helm - ranged/melee voidcape - soulwars (for you, use ardougne 3 i guess. not sure why you are unwilling to get sw cape, the quest will be easy for you with your stats)amulet - furyweapon - chaotic maul (whip + defender or godsword i guess since no chaotics) / hand cannon (questionable for you since you have low firemaking - consider rune/chaotic crossbow + broad bolts)shield - dragon defender for darklightbody - voidlegs - voidgloves - voidboots - dragon or ranger, don't bother with snakeskinring - berserker ring or dragonstone (i) if you've got 300 ma rankspecial - claws use regular prayers for eagle eye and piety (better than turmoil + leech ranged). even better with rigour. i get 42 kills/h with unicorn with that setup. you'll obviously be getting less due to your low ranged level and no chaotic maul or rigour. SpikeStr1ke
I was thinking about using void but i've heard that if i wasnt good at pray switching i would take to much damage for the unicorn to keep up. I might try again for my sw cape but this time im gonna use exts and melee him with whip+dd and use bgs spec to lower his defence hopefully i can beat him. I have a hard time with the brews though i always seem to mess up and forget to restore after 3 brew sips so i end up with lowered stats.

SpikeStr1ke
it's not that quy, it's that i dont have the money to afford tons of supplies. I've tried using a kyatt but the problem is i never make it to where my bob is empty he always kills me beforehand. I normally dont get him past his 1/4 hp heal he normally kills me by his half hp mark and if i do make it past that im lucky.
