Reform13 Posted January 18, 2011 Share Posted January 18, 2011 Hey everyone. I was wondering if I should use Mage+claws in the new pvp. I currently have 92 attack 99 str. And 85 def(will be 90) for gear I plan on ahrims top and bottom with god cape, Anicent staff, veracs helm, unholy book and dragon boots also a glory for telly.. With dragon claws as a spec out. 94 Mage ATM and I will be using brawlers while pvping. You need arcstream like Atrum said, or you'll be hitting rather low. You also want a wolpertinger + scrolls or at least magic pots. I might add that risking 30k dungeoneering tokens is quite a lot (at your level, probably a long day's work) and that's what keeps people from maging in pvp, mostly. Half of the pkers who arn't idiots will see you instantly as easy prey and will most likely go for you just for giggles with that gear. If you do try this watch out for the welfare rangers. A ranger who venges on both of your d claw specs, uses a pheonix necklace and uses Dbolts or a Handcannon can easily take down your 40mil with a 400K risk if you don't know wtf your doing. Against a Venger your best offence is your worst defence..
