Recently decided to become DIY (Do it yourself) as the idea of self sustainance is more interesting than living at the GE :angry:

This is an interesting concept. So it's.. get everything yourself without buying from players/GE?

barely though. i have 15 (4) ovls, and 40 tortsol seeds -.-;; gonna do some juju farming tonight, and get the 5th herb patch pretty soon here and get as many ovls as i can, prob ~ 300 tortsols if im lucky +_+

Good luck with the DIY, how long are you planning on sticking to it? Forever?

I plan on sticking to it for as long as I can, but it's pretty fun and I'll try to stick to it foreverrrrr :twisted:

 

But I might occasionally buy a few items, not for awhile I hope though <_<

I did that for all my dragon items...mind you, grave robbing corp hunters worked best for me...got a zammy spear in 3hrs....lol

Maybe lol, but my POH has the stuff I need at the moment, teles to Kharyll, Ardy and Varrock, plus Gilded altar :P

I got Karils leathertop at Barrows on my 7th run :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

Lol...didn't check highscores, thought you were a noob. Either way, I'd suggest welfare-sallying barrows. 30k for equipment, 30k per 8 trips, makes 120k not including armor chests....

Hmm...well, either way this has made me want to try this, quest cape style. When I return march 6th, I vow to get a quest cape using items I obtained myself....excluding the vissy I snagged before quitting last april.

Lol...why are you going after barrows armor? If I wanted diy armor, I'd hit metal drags first for legs, using potions I made off herbies from my kingdom. Either way, this blog actually seems interesting, mind you a pic every once in a while wouldn't hurt...

I'm not really sure why I went to Barrows first, mainly because I just felt like it lol, turned out to get lucky :shades:

 

As for pictures, I just figured out how to post them lol, so expect some more :rolleyes:

Got these about 53 kills in, stayed for another 30 kills before I got bored and left lol, oh, and a clue scroll :)

 

Camping at Abyssal demons now, got a dragon spear so far, first one ever :o

Yeah, dragon legs/skirt and a rune plate (from TT's) would be a decent DIY set-up.

Indeed, I have antifire pots, just need a few more runes and I might go kill some metal dragons :)
