Ezkaton
Well seeing as I have just finished doing Temple at Sentissten(sp?) I now have access to ancient curses and am at 73 prayer currently. I'm just wondering when abouts curses will outstrip my normal prayer book for slayer. Reacting impulsively and saying what's on your mind feels oh so good.. for a little, until you realize you just started WWIII.2672nd person to reach 2496 total. Thanks to Wicked for the awesome siggy :D
Sy_Accursed
When you can access all the deflect curses they can be better. When you get all the leech curses even more usefulHowever flipping bk is advised for using piety where needed. They become basically ur perma prayer set once u hit soulspilt and turmoil. Obtaurian
There are very few situations where curses > prayers before 95. Just keep using piety for now. To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.

Just keep using piety for now.92 gives curses a game changing option (soulsplit) already though. - And in many minigames this is more valuable than piety (especially dungeoneering) First they came to fishingand I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing Then they came to the yewsand I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews Then they came for the oresand I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores Then they came for meand there was no one left to speak out for me. There are very few places where sacrificing piety is worth using soul split. Seeing as how soul split is used more often than turmoil in dungeoneering, I can see how that could possibly be one advantage, but it's a drop of water in an Olympic-sized pool. To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.
Quyneax
I would flash piety before flashing ss only (flashing ss + turm being the best of course) in dungeoneering. Curses are good for Corp (stunner only) and Kree (one person on a team only). They might also be useful for a tank @ gwd (not sure on that). I also rather liked leech defence + soul split at wyverns before I got turmoil (soul split helps a ton). Once you get turmoil, curses are best for everything but ranging frosts/Nex.
