sharksman3
1st time trying to get a FireCape using void, decided ill try it due to friends saying that it's a good ammoutn faster.I'm probaly gonna use ags and or claws for jad with mele helm. For rest just gonna range.Would like to know inventory setups due to the friends who use void have divines, i do not. And they use Overloads or chaotics. thanks "I was born an American; I will live an American; I shall die an American."Daniel Webster_____________________________

sharksman3
well with your def level i doubt you will get to jad with voidLol i safe spot most of the time, im pretty good at safe spotting and normally when i do it i have 5/8 brews left and like 7 restsTaking Damage isn't really my concern, its prayer. I was thinking about using soulwars cape and crystal bow for the prayer. Just different seeing as i usually use prayer gear like verac helm/skirt/bandos boots/etc etc. "I was born an American; I will live an American; I shall die an American."Daniel Webster_____________________________
foursideking
If you're gonna use void, why not elite void w/ deflecter...overall, I have no experience w/ getting a firecape, and can only hope you do well there. Good luck from vancouver university?
Th e Doctor
Void+deflector would be viable if you feel its worth the sacrifice of slots to have both barrows gloves/void gloves swap for melee and elite void top/ACP swap for range. That is only if your set on meleeing jad. foursideking
Lol...if you're gonna use a dfs, wait until it is fully charged at least, then you can take out jad with breath...or wait, is jad still vulnerable to dragonbreath?

You shouldn't be using ags or claws for anything but specs, which means a whip/chaotic rapier. Seeing as def doesn't matter on him deflector would be ideal, if not use a d defender. And dragonfire doesn't work on him (dstone bolts at least) from what I've heard. Its possible that im wrong. Either way dfs is a piece of junk for anything but wyvern tasks (and even that is debateable) so sell it and buy either herblore or prayer levels to help out with extremes or more prayer points (since you said running out of prayer is your issue here and not hp). Th e Doctor
4 brews, 17 super restores, 1 Super Str, 1 Super Att, 2 range pots for speeding up getting to jad. Bring an EE if you have it. Otherwise go 5 brews 17 super restores. Equipment full void range with melee helm in inv along with your ags or claws. And my telling you to sell the dfs for prayer levels was because you said your problem was running out of prayer. No need to be snippy. Experimenting with new ideas was how we got newer technology, and new ideas/methods never hurt....

Cheefoo
At your level, you should have no problem. Just go with any basic inventory with brews, super restores, prayer potions, and whatnot; void shouldn't really change your inventory too much. I finished it easily on my first try with only about ~80 range and with potions to spare. Bring more prayer restoration than health, as you shouldn't be taking much damage if you do it right. SirIzenhime
6 brews2 range/ext pots1 super/ext atk1 super/ext strhelm switchweapon switch (should be between Whip and Crossbow/Karil X bow/Crystal bow)Spec weapon (EE or claws)rest super restores. Don't bother with AGS (you actually could sell it since you have claws for a spec weapon, they're just as good), jad has low defense, a whip will tear through him, especially if you're in void. Make sure to use Eagle eye (rigour if you have it) through the waves, and piety on jad.My only final note would be this. If you're going to melee jad, why not just melee the whole cave? It would go a lot faster and save you two inventory spots for more restores. The only worry would be the 360s, which you simply kite (very easy to do with a whip/rapier, since you attack at the same speed as them) Huh???...aren't threads a place to bounce ideas, or did I go through 3 years of law school for nothing. You went through 3 years of law school so you could bounce ideas on a runescape forum? You're ideas aren't new, they're old and outdated by better and newer methods. It's almost like you've taken a 2 year+ break from Runescape. If that's the case, then stop posting advice, because chances are, things have changed and answers today will be a lot different then they were 2 or 3 years ago.
