Wisky_is_Goo
I'd like to get into monster hunting/bossing but ive never really done much before other than bandos. I dont really like DKs, but id be willing to give them a shot. I slay casually and have around a 40m cashpile saving for 95 prayer. I have overloads and most gear EXCEPT chaotics. stats are in sig. Where can i use my newly gotten Uni to help me? And also, what bosses would you reccomend with my stats?
Legionwizard
Tbh, as a lvl 99 summoner, when I reflect back I haven't used uni's particulary a lot. What I've noticed in the last months, is that the BoB approach to boss hunting has gained over the healer familiar approach. If talking about bosses, I'd say Bandos, Zamorak and Saradomin GWD, TD's. But even so, I'd still prefer a tort (or yak in my case) over a uni (spec points for scroll allows only 3 scrolls in one go, which is really a major turndown for me). Achieved quest (07/08/2009), woodcutting (28/06/2010), attack (21/07/2010), strength + constitution (07/08/2010), defence (26/09/2010), summoning (13/01/2011), herblore (03/03/2011), cook (31/08/2012), firemaking (01/09/2012), magic (08/09/2012), prayer (16/09/2012) and ranged (29/10/2012) capes. Quyneax
TDS are the biggest ones, as uni suddenly allows you to survive w/o food. If you had a higher ranged level, you'd be able to kill them even faster, but your stats are already good. Quyneax
Beats me, I got charms for 89 only :(. Anyway I never bother with bobs anymore, hate the hassle. I just leave drops I can't bring (I can finish a spectre task in one trip & not get a single ranarr :P). manitstinks
Ehh I never use them. If you chin, use them. Kind of a waste if you just use it to charge some glories right?

Kind of a waste if you just use it to charge some glories right? This, if you're rc'ing using glories, then just recharge them using a taverley teletab to get to the Heroes Guild, no way I'm going to spend a >5k summon pouch for that (unless you really have a massive load of them). Aside from that, geysers are useful for range slaying and pvp situations (not my territory). Other useful fams are lava titan (slaying KBD and mining), hydra (mage trees) and apparently swamp titans aren't too bad either as a combat familiar. DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers ringsQBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow partsCR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size....It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty). You don't want to pay an extra 4k to not have to run 2 minutes? That's totally worth it for me. (and having a massive load of them doesn't change the price of them, so I see no difference).
