P2P Staking Gear Guide

In my original thread I listed the best possible F2P Range Gear for a 1 Def/1 Pray Mixed Pure. I appreciate everyone's help in that thread (shown here: http://forum.tip.it/topic/285869-returning-member-stakinggear-help/ )

Now I'd like to ask, as a returning member/staker, what is the best possible Range Gear. Money is not an issue.

Here is my list for what the best possible gear USE to be:

*UPDATED*

Robin Hood Hat

Fury Amulet (Overall) /Amulet of Ranging (+ Range)

Black D'hide Chaps

Spiked Black D'hide vambs

Archer Ring

Ranger Boots

Obsidian Cape /Ava's Accumulator

Magic Short Bow /Dark Bow /Rune C'Bow /Morrigan's /Hand Cannon/ Karil's for weapons all seem to be viable with the best possible arrows, poisoned.

Thanks all!

Accumulator for cape slot, and the dark bow strategy could still work, rune c'bow is stronger than a mage bow. Also might want to check out dragon darts, because they hit decent and are very fast.

Solid answer for the cape slot but looking over the stats, even though Ava's Accumulator gives +4 ranged it lacks in every other area. I'd still stick with Obsidian but I'll note it in the list.

Rune C'Bow >Magic Short Bow? It use to be the other way around or at least a matter of preference. I wouldn't go with Dragon Darts, if I remember correctly, bows still owned darts.

For weapon dps:

Handcannon > Karil's crossbow > rune knives I think, not sure how good knives are as their accuracy is so low. The accumulator is mainly to gather back your ammo by the way, which reduces costs. With a rune crossbow you use dragonstone bolts to KO your opponent.

Dark bow is a good KO weapon still, but I'd use knives, kxbow or rcbow for dps (depending on how much you want to risk, Morrigan's javelins or a magic short bow might be more appropriate).

Like I said, money isn't an issue and typically my stakes are a minimum of 50k. I would definitely go with dragonstone bolts.

If money is no issue, use Morrigan's. The special attack of the javelins maxes over 400 + 10 hits of 40 over time iirc.

If it is a 1 def/1 pray pure you cannot use the handcannon because you have to complete the quest to be able to wield it iirc.

Also, wouldn't the accumulator's ability be useless in the duel arena? I thought your ammunition was picked up after every duel and returned to you? Unless you're welfare staking with a short supply of ammo...
