February 6, 201115 yr I have a few questions.. 1. Should I use Karil's cbow while pking or Rune cbow with enchanted bolts?2. Should I use vengeance or Ice Barrage (when I get 94 magic)?3. What gear should I wear? I have full Ahrim's but that might be too expensive to pk with.4. How can I deal with pures who have d claws and stuff? That's all I can think of for now.
February 6, 201115 yr Depends on your preferred pking style. Are you going to mage/range hybrid? I think Karil's cbow is a tad out of date. You'd probably do more damage using diamond (e) or even dragonstone (e) bolts. I've been watching fights and most people are using mystic/black d hide at Edge. If you have a team to watch you or are very confidant, you could use karils or ahrims but that is pricy and you'll be a huge target :S As for pures, rushers, etc., avoid them if you can and get out of there quickly. Thats my 2 cents for now.
February 6, 201115 yr Author Yes of course, my magic is even higher than my range. Are pures really that dangerous that I can't take them on? Dragonstone bolts would do fine I think for them, unless they had dclaws or something.
February 6, 201115 yr Eh pures won't hit as often as you do, but you're not taking the full advantage of your 70+ defence (wearing barrows). A pure at your level can have 90+ strength and as such hit far higher than yourself. Karil's crossbow will have a very high dps on any target, especially if you are using black hide with it (I'm assuming void is too much of a risk). The handcannon would be even higher dps, as well as a little more accurate & with a longer range. Use vengeance if you don't want to barrage. This may seem obvious, but it's really up to you whether you want to hybrid or range tank. February 6, 201115 yr Just wear mystic lol.Vengeance is only when u have a mutual fight but hybriding can be for everything.Definitely use rune crossbow

Also when using a range/mage hybrid your KOs come from dragonstone bolts (or Morrigan's, but certainly not from magic).
