Introduction

 

Hi there, it's Luke here, or as many of you may remember me as - Runekidy, I'm 15, enjoy sports and I'm currently studying for my GCSE's. This will be a long first post, explaining why I quit, things that have been happening in my life, my NEW account, and my goals. (My main goal being 99 woodcutting) So sit back, grab a tea/coffee, relax and read on :^_^:

 

History

 

So, many of you may remember me from my former tip.it account: RuneAge/RuneNarb, or what was my Runescape name: Runekidy (just in case you don't, here's some links to some of my old blogs:

Anyway, I suddenly disappeared from this forum without posting any reason why, or saying my goodbyes, the reason for that is that Runekidy had been hacked, I could not log in, nor use recoveries (stupidly I hadn't set any :wall: ) I attempted to recover him, but sadly, to no avail. I was angry at all the hard work and time I had lost, and "vowed" I would not return to Runescape, yet a couple of months on, I did. I created a new account, and started my journey, once more, over again, it has taken me a LOT of hard work just to get to where I am now. - But who says lightning doesn't strike the same place twice? My current account was also hacked, I lost a great deal of money I had made from 99 fishing, and was pretty much a broken player, once again - Although this time I had set recoveries and had managed to recover the account.

 

Turning Points

 

In my life, recently, there has been a lot of devastation, I lost both of my Granddads to cancer and just recently, my Auntie was diagnosed with Breast cancer, for these reasons alone, it has been difficult for me to get onto Runescape, but I'm steadily rebuilding my runescape journey. - And trust me, I can sympathise with anyone who has lost someone to cancer, the pain runs deep, and never stops hurting.

 

Brighter Sky's Ahead

 

Now, enough will all the doom and gloom, I made myself a great little, account with some decent skills (Although some aren't all that) and have managed to achieve 99 fishing! (a previous goal for Runekidy) and a fire cape! My goals for the next few months are:

 

-My MAJOR goal being 99 woodcutting, currently cutting yews.

 

-Have at least 5m+ Cash/items ~ ACHIEVED

 

-Achieve 50+ in all skills

 

-Achieve at least 140+ quest points (currently 123 QP)

 

-Achieve 90 attack

 

-New goal - Have at least 20m cash/items ACHIEVED

 

-Make some new friends :-D

Weird...I lost both my parents last year in a car accident, 3 cousins from iraq, and an uncle from stomach cancer, so I can kiiiiinda sympathize w/ you. Should be interesting to see how this all unfolds, and once I return, you're definitely welcome to join my new 'project'.

Today has been quite a slow day, played a match of football though, we drew 4-4 - anyway, on to Runescape news - I've just completed Nature spirit (Quite a small quest I know) and now can collect mort myre fungus (Which I will used to get a bit of money together :^_^: I also bought myself a nice pair of d platelegs and d boots :shades:

Today's been an OK day really, I had a practice paper in Biology and was one mark off of an A (I missed out a question :wall: ) And tomorrow I have the Biology Mock (test)

 

In Runescape news, I achieved 74 Woodcuttting (74/99), but just for a little while, i'm going to turn my attention to some of my neglected skills (Fletching, Herblore, mining etc)

Are you cutting yews all the way till 99 or are you gonna switch to something faster xp like ivy? Personally I say stick with yews and use the logs for 99 fletching/firemaking :thumbsup:

Today has been an okay day, in hockey we won 2-1, very wet and windy, but s'all good, anyway, in runescape news i've managed to cut another 60k of woodcutting exp, and, I decided to try bot killing, and gained a sweet 160k (1.4k raw lobbies) in 40 minutes, not bad eh? i'll try and achieve 75 woodcutting tomorrow (If i'm not occupied with economics course work) :wall:

Today has been an OK day as per usual, I managed to finish a large chunk of my Economics course work though :thumbsup:

 

-In Runescape news i've managed to get my experience (to the next level) down to 14k in woodcutting, I've also been "bothunting" and gained 700k from that (3.5k raw lobbies, 800 swordies and 1k Tunas) I will definitely achieve 75 woodcutting tomorrow, and post an update with a picture.

 

-I'm off to bed, Night.. :P

So, today, it's mainly been a quest day, and nothing else (currently 99/140 quest points)

 

Quests completed today:

 

-Zogre flesh eaters

-Gunnars ground

-Doric's quest

-Observatory quest

-Jungle potion

-Big chompy bird hunting

-Goblin diplomacy (Embarrasing I know)

-Imp Catcher (Same as above)

-Swept away

-Vampire slayer

-Knights sword

 

Yup, Alot of quests, so tomorrow (If i'm on at all) i'll be woodcutting towards my goal of 99 :thumbsup:

Today has been a fairly decent day, in basket ball (trials, decided to try it out) we drew 2-2, it's not a sport that interests me tbh, but I thought it was worth a try - On Runescape news, i'm finally back to woodcutting! :thumbsup: After questing for 2 sessions straight I got through quite a few quests, but gave up on Elemental quest III (final puzzle) I've burnt through 2 levels, (75/99, 76/99) I'm currently 85k odd away from 77 woodcutting, I will update this post with some more pictures, later on -

 

Today has been a great day, got through the last of my economics work (Until after the half term) On Runescape news i'm now 77 woodcutting, levels are pretty much flying by, (I know it won't stay this way for long) I'm also currently racing my friend to 99 woodcutting, so get extra motivation from that.

On Runescape news, alot has been happening, I'm now level 80 woodcutting, and the yews had a few surprises in store - Magic seed and two maple seeds in the same day, I've also made a bit more monnies, I now have a total wealth of 14m, not much, but gradually building - I also tried the flower game, two small bets of 10k each, and won the second time, giving me a profit of 30k :shades: -Thanks to a player from "Sullivan" cc for being legitimate.

- So, on to what I've been up to, Yesterday I ordered a Desktop computer (sold my netbook) in order to make life easier (With school assignments, general use and oh yeah, Runescape HD :rolleyes:

 

I've also achieved 81 Woodcutting, I'm currently training some of my embarrassing skills (hunter and rune crafting) up to at least 40+ So I don't feel so ashamed of them - I'm also going to start cutting Ivy, yeah, I've gotten lazy, but I figured I didn't need the logs from yews for money/fletching/woodcutting. So yeah, Hopefully it's back to woodcutting tomorrow and onwards towards 99 :thumbup:

So, today, I've achieved 82 woodcutting (through ivy) and also acquired another magic seed and another palm seed, damn these trees/ivy love me :shades: - But, from now on, I will be training combat while accumulating some cash (watching my cash pile grow) This should only be for a couple of days, then straight back to ivy till at least 90+ woodcutting.

 

Oh and i've also achieved level 45 farming, (Doing farm runs in-between training woodcutting etc) but I didn't get a picture :wall:

Today's been a pretty awesome day, made 4m from combat activities, and also went to Nonu Omu's (BHG) parteh, twas' awesome, we had a dungeon (POH) contest, then on to a drop party, I managed to get 2 dragon med helms, 1 rune scimmy and 1 pair of rune platelegs - Thankies :thumbsup: - And then on to suicide boss runs, and finally fighting, and beating the wildy wyrm in noob gear, i've posted all the pictures on Nonu's blog -

So, I'm back to woodcutting after a 4-5 day break, I made 7m in that time, and decided to buy a bandos chestplate, I only cut off around 30k exp today as I've been around a friends after school, and also revising for my Science 1A GCSE tests on Wednesday :ohnoes:

 

Hopefully I'll be closer to 83 woodcutting tomorrow, but for now, I'm off to bed, Night..

Hey, thanks for visiting my blog, and taking the time to post, I've been training via slayer/dragons and when I need a quick boost of cash Chaos druids (Not very good combat training at all though) as from chaos druids you get grimy herbs (higher level herbs) mithril bolts (which you can wield to save space) Law runes (Which you can use to teleport back to Ardy for quick banking and sometimes even key half's (I've managed to get 2 so far) Hope this helps :thumbsup:

 

So, On to today, I've managed to cut a good 110k off, and am around 90k+ away from 83 woodcutting, I've been cutting Ivy while doing some major revision for my Science GCSE's tomorrow (1A - Biology, Physics and Chemistry) Which I am very nervous about :ohnoes: - Hoping all goes well tomorrow, and i'll try and get to 83 woodcutting, Right, time for bed, need mah sleeps :thumbup:

Haven't updated my blog in a while, so this will probably be a big post, I've achieved 83 woodcutting, but have now decided to take a break for questing and slaying and to achieve 70 prayer which has cost 6m for the supplies (Also to achieve a slayer helm, which won't be easy) So, these are the quest's I've completed today and yesterday:

-Slug Menace

-Gertrudes Cat

-Ghosts Ahoy

I'm currently training my prayer to 70 (using dragon bones at the Ectofuntus) this has cost 6m :blink:

 

After 70 prayer I'll be off to do Icthlarin's little helper and Smoking kills (for the slayer helmet)
