Prayer; will we ever see it dip to 18 gp/xp?

Hey guys, I'm around 137m bank now.

Ofc 95 prayer is the goal.

My question is, with the crashing bones and upcoming demon ash update, will we ever see prayer go below or around 18 gp/xp?

Big bones and some other bones are well under 18 gp/xp, but their efficiency rating is crap (according to grimy).

I'm real tempted to just get soulsplit for the estimated 120-125m price and use the acquired prayer to monster hunt (solo rex or GWD?) and earn the money necessary for 95.

as always, inb4quyneax.

Soul Split alone isn't worth giving up Piety/Rigour for boss hunting, so I would say no to that plan.

I think 18gp/xp for prayer is a realistic estimate if the demon ash update isn't total crap.

Probably not. I'm in the same boat as you and i'm holding out for a while till I buy turmoil. Hopefully the ash update does lower the gp/xp rate of dbones but I wouldn't keep your hopes up. Try and capitalize on any crash that happens on the update day on dbones.

Farm more ;).

I can't predict prices but I second what Zaaps said, don't use soul split alone for melee. However for solo arma you can use it (leech defence and ranged), for corp as stunner (full leech), and for Nex too (not sure but it'd be like corp). I also liked it when slaying wyverns, leech defence + soul split.

Forgive me Quyneax, for I have sinned...

I haven't been herb farming, but I have been humping the G.E for the past 5 days.

Thats how I went from like 98m to 138.3m haha. (1.3m just gained since posting this post \:D/ \:D/ )

For a moneymaker, I'd be doing solo rex a lot or even arma. I'm sure soul split and the leech curses would be of great help!

Pretty sure big bones are much less gp/xp, and if you dont make a large income they are probably more worthwhile to do instead of d bones

good fact, b bones are 1/4th the xp of d bones and 1/10th the cost

So 4 b bones = 1 d bone for xp and less then half the cost!

But remember that getting the level would then take 4x as long.
