yeh the byte thing is messed up.i always wished 1 kilabyte=1,000bytes

Actually that was the old size limit before we changed it back to 30KB.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Can't recall the exactly reason why we went from 30,000 Bytes to 30KB, but I guess it's because people found it easier to check their images' file sizes in KB than Bytes.

It's true though, lemon, I have had to reupload sigs several times because they were 30kb and now 30,000 bytes back when I used to make PS sigs :wink:

Ami: I belive its because the signature control panel modification thats used on these forums works in kb instead of bytes :P

30kb is precisley

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

30720 bytes which is almost 31kb. It does make a difference as in ps it's best to get the maximum quality you can.
