I would like to find a desktop widget sort of thing that would enable a user (including a restricted/limited user) to send notes/messages to another user on the same computer (a shared family computer with different logins for different people). What I'm thinking of is like the Win7 Sticky Notes, only where you could add them on other users' desktops, to say, notify them [ie probably parents] that you made arrangements for whatever or need them to buy you whatever etc, perhaps color code the stickys so each color is a different persons.

 

So does such a thing exist, and if so where can I get it? If not, how hard do you think it would be to create?

Hmm. You could put a text file in their startup, less elegant, but it works.

Maybe just use actual sticky notes and sticking them to the side of the monitor?

What is the operating system on the computer?

Windows 7. Yeah actual sticky notes would work fine, I just haven't got any handy... :P
