New Crafting Urns Xp bonus info

Featured Replies

Here is what I have found out about filling urns.

A strong smelting urn:

Does fill when making cannon balls

Takes approx. 2 loads of steel to fill it

Does NOT Fill when smelting at the Blast furnace

A decorated Mining Urn:

Does NOT fill when mining in Miscellania

I suspect the other urns do not fill in Miscellania when managing thy kingdom either

The Decorated mining Urn takes 84 coal to fill

Just a note, I'm assuming it does not work at Miscellania since you do not actually get the items from there, you just get favor.

Some info I found:

The level cap is for the items you are procuring, not your actual skill level. My account is F2P so the highest access I have is the 3rd tier urns. The 40 mining urn works with gold, iron, tin, copper, basically any ore below level 40. I don't have the mining level required for anything higher then that in F2P but I'm going to assume mithril and above will not work with F2P urns.

Willows give 1% in the 3rd tier woodcutting urn per willow log. Iron ore gives 2% per ore.

Power mining iron really benefits from urns as your inventory won't have more then 2-4 ores in it at a time you can carry 24-26 urns depending on how many ores you want to pick up before dropping. So for every 50 ores you get another "free" 9.28 ores worth of experience.

I found something interesting for the mining urns!

the living rock critters body counts towards the urn fill rate. when you mine the body to get bits of living rock to fish with, it helps fill up the urn.

the percentage of fill seems to be %0.8 per level 120 rock protector

method: fresh jar. killed 10, mined 10, Checked percentage after every mine after 10 kills it was 8%

Willow DO NOT give 1%, they Give 1.33732535%.

It takes 74.7761194 willow logs to fill Woodcutting Urn(T1)

You get 825 exp per Woodcutting Urn(T3)

You get 5010 exp from the willow logs cut.

The bonus is a 16.4670659% increase.

Unless anyone still has anything to add (sneaky bump for visibility hoo!), I think this topic has served its purpose. It'll board the express to completed submissions shortly...
