Intermagma
Hey guys. I recently started playing RS again, and I am kind of stuck on what to do now. Since I got back, I got 99 cooking and a dragon defender, but that is about it. I have about 5 mil cash. Also, here is a picture of what my current armor set-up looks like: http://img511.imageshack.us/img511/2020/screenshot20110215at935.png I want to train my combat stat's, but what should I upgrade with my current stats? I prefer training strength to 99, but should I increase my attack and defense before that as well? What should I upgrade with the money that I have right now? Also, are there any quest items I should think about getting to help increase my damage or accuracy? A lot of people tell me to buy an SS and to get Barrows Gloves, but I don't know what the gloves are, and I don't know if an SS will be worth it. So yeah, what should I upgrade? Also, I am kind of stuck on what to do now. Should I raise money money and buy a bunch of good armor for ranging/melee and stuff or should I train my combat stats first? A lot of people are telling me to train slayer and get my summoning to 68, or something like that. What do you guys recommend? Thanks in advance for the help! First off, what do you intend to do when you finish training your character? Do you want to train all your stats to the same level? I would start by training slayer to get your combat up, maybe do some quests in between :-)You'll probably get some effigies from slayer too, which can help with raising other levels, such as prayer/herb/summon etc.

It's awesome. Also, this is the page for the barrows gloves, which are also awesome. Both are very worth the time you would invest into them. Th e Doctor
Welcome back first of all, your unhealthy runescape addiction has missed you :) For training str the best gear is chaotic rapier+ddef>saradomin sword>korasis+ddef>dscim+ddef Once you have 70 attack/def there isn't a point of getting them up over str (unless you're getting a chaotic rapier which you need 80 att for, it is definitely worth getting) as a whip/ss and barrows/bandos are the best gear you'll need. Upgrades with the money you have now? Get rid of the RoW now, berserker ring is the most bang for your buck, torags can be traded for veracs for the prayer bonus. Combat bracelet definitely needs to be replaced by barrows gloves (they are a reward purchased at the end of the quest Recipe for Disaster). The cape should be replaced by a firecape/soulwars cape/ardy cape 2(+). Quest related/untradeable items to get?Salve amulet (e) provides a 20% increase to att/str on undead monsters, stacks with void. Full void set as well including a deflector. Lastly do smoking kills for eventually getting a slayer helmet. Yes ss and barrows gloves are worth getting, the latter moreso than the former. I would say for now work towards getting a decent cashpile and the base gear you need for powertraining the way you want to. Herb runs every 1.5 hours and MTK being the easiest ones to get involved with. Do this while doing PC/conquest for your full void+deflector and you should have a nice start. Other quests to work on are Defender of Varrock for access to armoured zombies, the void knight quests for elite voids prayer bonus plus korasis sword. Cheers. Edit If you wish to train slayer get a black mask as noted above and keep the glory. Do your herb runs inbetween ever 1(2) tasks for extra cash. Armadyl Drops : 4 Hilts; 3 Chestplates; 2 Chainskirts; 1 Helmet; 1 Buckler; 2 Shard 1; 2 Shard 2; 1 Shard 3Nex : 1 Zaryte BowKalphite King : 1 Drygore Rapier ; 1 Drygore Longsword : 1 Drygore Offhand Rapier : 1 Drygore Offhand Longsword
SirIzenhime
Barrows gloves are the highest level gloves you can buy after completing the quest Recipe for Disaster, and they're right that you should get it.Also work for a Fire and souls wars cape (soul wars cape is from the quest Nomad's Requiem. In general, work on you stats, I see you have quiet a few that aren't rankedDefinitely start working on dungeoneering. Long run goals from that would be getting rewards such as the Chaotic rapier, arcane stream, scroll of life/cleansing, and other random rewards depending on what you like to do.Work on your magic, it's low for your level, and helps out in quiet a few situations. Stat questing, just do quests, don't worry about goals with them, just stat going on a questing spree. Unlock teleports/transportations. (quests like, Grand tree, Tree gnome village, Fairy Tale part 2, watch tower, plague city)If your really want a goal for quests, try to focus on completing all the master ranked quests.
