I enjoy slayer, and I enjoy metal dragons cause they are fairly relaxed mage xp.I got claws of guthix from the mage arena, and I can also cast water surge. When mageing I always pray mage as well. SO which is more efficient in terms of killing speed, mage xp and cost? Also bonus question - if it is claws of guthix, how often should I recharge?
February 26, 201115 yr Claws of guthix with the mace is = to fire surge with the SoL. So then CoG with the mace would be better then water sure with the SoL. As for the charge I think you just charge as often as possible. PM me in game anytime It's a lot easier then that for an idiot to sound smart on the internet. February 26, 201115 yr It's a reward from pest control/conquest. It gives 10% more magic damage over the regular Guthix staff. 150 tokens I think? February 26, 201115 yr Use flames of zamorak, it lowers the dragons magic level. Unless your leeching, accuracy should be your main concern when maging metal dragons. And don't pray mage, use antifire potions and an antidragon shield.

February 26, 201115 yr And seeing as dragons don't have a high magic level but do have a high defense level CoG is better. That and the fact that the max hit is greater.
