March 7, 201115 yr It's not that hard of a puzzle but if you're really having trouble pick one of these video guides on youtube and then keep opening and exiting the puzzle until it looks like one in a video and follow what they do. Pretty much the only advice that can be offered to you. Pyramid Plunder Guide Tip.it Forum Rules Adventurer's LogThanks to Cowboy14 for the awesome sig!

EW3 is like 20x harder than MEP2 without a guide. I dunno, EW3 was a puzzle you could sit and stare at. You don't get an overview of the MEP2 lights, nor do you get to sit in peace with all those damned ghosts. Nor does EW3 have a damned stupid agility obstacle. Having done MEP2 with a guide, and EW3 without, I personally have worse memories of MEP2. Possibly because I messed up at one point and thought I had to redo 3/4 of the damn quest. MEP2 might have been more running around and annoying, but matching up a lot of lights and reflecting it around wasn't as hard as staring at a puzzle for an hour before i went f@#K it - and used a guide. And using a few messed up guides, go f%$k it again - and then find a video guide on youtube that worked. It could be harder if the shadows/traps kept annoying you, but conceptually the puzzle for EW3 seemed harder. Guides for MEP2 were also a lot easier to follow/keep track of.
March 8, 201115 yr I'd have to agree mep2 is worse than ew3.And I'd say I'm a pretty wise one to ask in this matter given that I wrote both the mep2 guide and the ew3 guide for tip.it (the ew3 guide thts up now tht is not the buthcered version of my guide tht didnt work they original posted) Without a guide, a map or a nice overview solving mep2 is a pain in the ass.I spent like 4 hours in total doing completely random stuff in mep2 before stumbling upon the various pillars tht change light colouring automatically.EW3 took nowhere no as long to solve and the overview meant it was easy to jot down an overall note and easily map out what moves to make and where everything wuld end up. March 8, 201115 yr EW3 was a pain, took a long time, and once you figured out how it worked and was supposed to go, just boring. MEP2 was much more annoying, more challenging, and made me want to slam my head against a wall every five minutes :wall: :wall: :wall: [hide]unbinding green's kidneys for ltk's heartdo you farm guam like me sir ltk[/hide]
