What emotes would you like to see for master capes of all skills?

Featured Replies

There has been a lot of level 120 skillcape discussion this year and a few imaginitive players have even gone as far as creating videos of possible 120 skillcapes for skills other than Dungeoneering. Below is an example of this. NOTE this is not my video - all credit goes to "Milordarkantos".

His video inspired me to ask you all this question. What emotes would you like to see for master capes of all skills?

Personally I would like to see a neo-like move for a master agility cape, where you put up your hand and stop flying darts coming towards you XD sort of like this :-P

Firemaking: Human Torch

Cooking make an elaborate complicated looking food (stuffed shark?) Not a pie

Range: A target pops up, you shoot it and get a bullseye, then shoot again and split your arrow (Robin Hood!) I would love to see that implemented into the game somehow..like a trophy from ranging :P

Slayer: (takes up 3x3 like DG), Mith dragon spawns, you run and mount it like a horse quickly and begin to stab it in the neck while it's flailing around until it dies. After it falls, you get off and pick up the head and hold it above your own.

Make that an ice wyrm.

Oh yes forgot about those somehow. Instead of "mounting it like a horse" you could "pick" your way up it like ice picks in snow, and attack it from the top o.O

Or hit the ice patch and ride it as it jumps out at you? Then doing some awesome jumpy thing and killing it.

For summoning, could hold a portal over your head and have something huge come part of the way out of it.

You start shaking slightly, to simulate a small earthquake effect, then an Ice Stryke appears below you, lifting you into the area.

Your character waves his arms to regain his balance atop the now towering strykewyrm.

Your character pulls out a staff of light, twirls it around 2-3 times (not anymore though, other wise it gets cheesey), ends the twirl with the top facing down.

Your character lifts the SOL over his head, it then becomes inflamed.

Your character slams the blade of the now burning Sol into the strykes head, causing it to flail uncontrollably (maybe with a slight melting effect, as it's Ice)

Your character jumps off the flailing stryke to it's side, looking up at the tortured stryke.

Once the stryke falls (head still above ground, but laying motionless), your character gives it an unenthusiastic nudge with the SOL (no longer burning).

The stryke melts away instantly, making your character slightly jump, as if a bit startled.

Once the stryke is gone, your character strykes a pose (lol pun), slamming the SOL's foot into ground (Which forms the Barrier as seen from the Special Attack*)

After 2-3 seconds, end.

*the special will not actually activate, it will simply be an animation

Attack is all about how you approach a opponent/monster. But i find the 99 emote of attack bad because who uses fists in Runescape to kill a monster? And Attack skill is filled with weapons.

So...

Attack emote:

"Swordmanship Dance" Swinging a sword around with great attacks.

120 Magic: A ring (similar to the magic door in DG) appears on the floor, in which you are standing in the center. Each of the four directions is lit up by the colors of each elemental spell (white, blue, green, red). They begin to glow brighter as the player begins to elevate off the ground a bit (similar to the Quest cape emote).

The player's head is looking down, and hands to the side (palms facing out). Suddenly he/she lifts his/her head and raises their arms dramatically as the surge spells (or whatever the next stage of elemental spells would be), shoot up from the glowing areas. The player is surrounded by a spectrum of all of the colors as the spells being to swirl around him/her.

After this, the player falls down to earth landing in a cool pose (similar to Master Chief lands in the Halo 3 commercial). The player then stands up, holds their hands above their head where the spells are flying around, and suddenly the spells fly into his/her hands, being absorbed.

Finally, with the emote of casting a normal spell, the player casts all of spells combined at once. This spell would have a unique look of it's own, but to where you could still see all of the other spells within it being "braided" around each other. The only difference is that the spell is so powerful it sends the player skidding backwards across the floor. During this, one leg is in the back for support (if you can picture what I'm getting at), and during the skid back, it tears up the floor. (Just try to think of how people fly/skid back in cartoons and you'll get the idea).

After this, the player stands up doing a *wipe the sweat off forehead* emote, and the emote ends.

Or swing around like that but with each rotation you pull out a new weapon?

The agility one suggested in the OP would actually be perfect for defense.

Ranged could work like the dungeoneering one, except with three monsters popping out and you killing them with one shot of a different ranged weapon. Something like:

Zombie pops up behind you and you quickly turn around and hit it in the face with a throwing axe.

Halfway through the axe's flight a goblin comes up to the side and you throw a javelin at it, hitting it square in the chest.

Halfway through that javelin's flight a troll appears behind you, you turn around, bow drawn, and aim at it. The troll runs away and you shoot the arrow straight up and catch it on the way down.

Agility could be like that, but with things shooting at you and you dodging them in awesome ways. Say, backflip over an arrow, matrix-slide under a javelin, sidestep away from a magic attack.

Attack is all about how you approach a opponent/monster. But i find the 99 emote of attack bad because who uses fists in Runescape to kill a monster? And Attack skill is filled with weapons.

Crush, Stab and Slash weapon yeah

Nice suggestions everyone keep them coming.

Well, for the Attack cape: Perhaps a few flying wasps appear in front of the player, irritating the character. The character pulls out a Katana, swinging it about (leaving behind streaks, like the old Dragon Claws animation), and the flies fall to the ground to demonstrate the player's accurate hitting ability. Emote ends.

I agree with the Agility cape Matrix thing.

Not sure what would be suitable for Ranged/Defence capes, though
