What is the best way to make money at my stats?

Featured Replies

I am doing all the normal stuff, farm runs, mtk, dailies, etc...

I want to see what else I can do to make money. I would like to up my construction to be able to have the guilded altar and then get my prayer up.

I mostly slay, and these days mine gold to superheat for mage and smith exp.

I would like a boss to hunt with relative ease that can make money. Any suggestions, please include a guide without pointing me to AOW, most of those are out of date and arent very good.

Thanks

Getting 70 construction costs about 2,5 mil with sc hammers, and the altar itself costs about 2,7mil.

For general cash I would recommend flipping if you manage to learn how to do it.

I used to flip before the free trade, I haevnt since. I have over 140M so spending 5M on construction isnt a problem.

I am more concerned about how to get the cash for 95 prayer and 96 summon.

It's a gilded altar (covered in gold leaf) not a guilded altar (covered in guilds?).

Flipping would be the absolute best money in any case where you have 140m at your disposal, so it's worth investing in that.

Other than that you should unlock frost dragons and do those with a tortoise, if you already have the charms for 96 use the 140m to get that (unless you will flip with it).

Unlocking tds or getting a chaotic maul & 99 ranged for them is well worth it also.

I dont get flipping now that free trade here. Theoretically it should work better cause I am not limited on the price, but I lost a lot on raw rocktails and death runes after free trade, so I havent done it since.

What is a good monster to kill for steady cash, not a 1 in a 100 chance to get a dragon claw or something like that?

Is there any skill olther then prayer, dging, or summon that would help me get towards killing a boss?

thegame1431.png

Slayer, Frost Dragons, Dragons, DKS are good steady cash.

And don't limit yourself to a few items when you flip. And don't flip crashing items, its a lot harder!

You will eventually need 99 magic and ranged, try to range slay ;o

Based on what your Agility and Dungeoneering level is, get level 70 agility (or use an agility potion if you're too lazy), kill Blue dragons at Taverley dungeon. The 70 agility is useful for the pipe shortcut near the dungeon entrance, and the 60 Dungeoneering is useful for the resource dungeon there. There's hardly any people, so it doesn't get crowded a lot compared to outside of the resource dungeon. After a trip, you can either teleport to falador to bank, or exit through the shortcut said before, then run to Falador west bank. There's a broken wall shortcut southwest the bank.

I used this method, and I got my dragon claws :D

I would've agreed with you a week or two ago.

Now whenever I go, there's always 1-2 botters on pretty much every world.

However, at least they only bot to the south - so if you're on a slayer task, you can kill the two in the north go down and kill one or two and then the top two would have respawned already.
