Quests, Money and Lag

Right some slightly random questions I could so with some help on, thanks:

 

1) How hard is the Pest Mother in "The Void Stares Back" to kill? What sort of stats and gear do I need to be able to do this? How hard is Nomad to kill (again what stats and gear are needed)?

 

2) Recently I have been experiencing some lag on runescape not particularly bad but enough to inhibit some of my gameplay. I was just wandering what this was down to? My internet connection is about 7mb which I would have though fine for playing runescape. Could the lag be produced by my browser (internet explorer) or just the slightly old laptop that I'm using at the moment? Sorry if any of thats dumb I'm not really that in to that side of computers?

Although -> How does RS now order the people on its worlds for who has the fastest click. I used to play castle wars a LOT and it was common knowledge then that you were assigned a position within in the world depending on your the last two parts of your IP address (please don't tell me this is wrong I have much personal experience of it working) is there a new system whereby it is decided on who is ordered where on the world or is it just randomly generated when you log in? (Don't feel you have to answer this second slightly rambling question.)

 

3) What would a better use of my saved up 20mil: Buying a fury? Buying the bones for 75ish prayer? Considering my current prayer level is 65 and my general activities are Barrows and slayer.

EDIT: By the way the detail I play on seems to make no difference to the lag I experience.

Not too sure about 1 or 2, but with 20m you should buy a fury and zerker ring and 70 prayer after that.

I don't have any tips for the strategy on the boss fights but regarding your stats one major downside is that you have only 41 summoning. Having either spirit terrorbird (52) or war tortoise (68) would make both fights, p queen and Nomad, much easier as you could bring more supplies. (I'd consider tortoise as a must at Nomad) Also spirit kyatt and it's spec at 57 summoning would make Nomad a lot easier. Otherwise I don't see problem with the stats. I ranged Nomad with similiar stats (75 range and 80-something def). Pest queen is easier and you probably could melee her at your levels. So as mentioned before, 70 prayer and higher summoning is something worth investing in.

Tort is not needed for Nomad, I used bird + kyatt. Granted I had no brews left and was ~1 hit from dying when I won. Your stats are fine if you get 57 summoning.

 

Use the money to get 70 prayer (& finish the quests for piety if you haven't already) and a berserker ring, then fury.

 

On 2: You mean PID? Which used to work based on how long you had been logged in, is now randomised, and will be made useless.
