Bows Posted March 31, 2011 Share Posted March 31, 2011 I'm able to get 41k xp/hr at LRC doing concentrated gold with a Rune pick and 89 Mining. Does that seem high or do you think I can go higher with a Dragon pick? What does everyone else average? EDIT: Not that this was over about three hours. It seems awfully high, honestly. D pick is also significantly better.Banking because I do enjoy making a dollar every now and then. I bought my D pick and do see an increase of about 4-5k. And I don't have access to lava titans. green9090 Posted March 31, 2011 Share Posted March 31, 2011 You're getting under half of my rate. I drop, use a lava titan, use decorated mining urns, and use juju mining pots, and get ~85k/hr. Not dropping your ores is quite frankly stupid, because gold is so cheap nowadays. You make like 200k/hr doing that and cut your exp rate by 30% or more. Really really REALLY not worth it. Use an obby golem if you can, drop your ores, use urns, and strongly consider training enough to use juju mining potion, which is insanely good. Not that I can do gold, but on coal it's the difference between banking 40-50 (depending on how many urns are gone) ores per run to around twice that.
