{Tyrannosaurus Rex} W.I.P C/C welcome :o

Featured Replies

well i decided after seeing one of Misterxmas dinosaurs i should try a pixel version of a T-rex its either going well or failing misribly and of course the big fan of dinosaurs he is i will expect he will appear on this thread once or twice :o any feedback is welcome and put into consideration and i was playing around for 2 hours changing the shape of the head/neck because they dident look right oh and one more thing please remember i did this from looking at a animatronic T-rex pain-stakingly studying its colours/textures and shape.

The muscle need to show more and much more shading is need (however you were probably going to do that anyway

lol, sorry to say but the shaded part looks like the T-rex has mold growing on its skin

I think you need to define the details more intead of it being so blurry.

Anamatronic?!?!? Why not look at the real thing? Oh wait they're dead.

yes i will be shading it as it is a W.i.p lol

mould i should shade it a lighter tone of the colour then

ill work on it now

needs some more definition to the head i suggest watching jurassic park and seeing from there...they have much bigger muscles and such as its the main way of killings its prey

that's ok i consider a t-rex to be more fat then muscle.. and the "head muscles" are more of an exoskeleton anyway..

Not bad the texture is realistic looking. No one has ever seen a live T-rex (besides movies) so no one can be really sure what dinosaurs really looked like. As long as it comes out realistic, may be a great piece depicting how you believe the rex was. I do see the skull structure does not match much of a rex's, more to a raptor but maybe go for a Nanotyrannosaurus (real species) look.

Pixel sigs by me.

Pixel Art

Bit like an ultrasaurus' head. However i'm no expert, misterxman is

if he lengthengs the jaws it could come very close to a Spinosaurus.

like the one in your sig

really with some adjustments.. it's more close then a Nano T

I think the head looks like one nearer to the larger section of dinoasaurs.

what are you talking about a Spinosaurus is about just as big as a T-Rex
