Jadinko
While i undertand using bones on a guilded altar is the fastest method of training prayer, it is also very costly. So, as an alternative to this method, would using the points gained from pest control and soul wars be efficent enough to make it worth the *FREE* time spent there.I am already maxed in attack, strength, defence and HP, and have gotten full void so the points would not be better off going else where. I would also be using the high level clans used for obtaining maximum points. Thanks Tip.it. I love you. Miseryism | Completionist
Hegelstad
No it's not efficient. Maybe if you chin or barrage. My lame drops:6 Effigys1 D Med - 1 D Dagger1 Verac's Helmet - 1 Guthan's Platebody
Obtaurian
It's very slow compared to just using your maxed stats to go MHing to make the money. To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.
Sy_Accursed
Yeah you have to remember time = money. So while doing swars or pc does not literally require you to spend anything its lack of profits mean that in terms of training prayer you lose out. A totally made up example of this is: You can make 1mil gp per hour using your best money maker. You can get 500k's worth of prayer xp an hour via pc.You can get 2mil gp worth of prayer xp an hour via guilded alter. That means for 2mil gp worth of prayer xp:Altar takes 3 hours (2 hours money making, 1 hour training)Pc takes 4 hours training. Therefore altar is cheaper* and faster *Using the numbers from above working on a 4 hour rota. 4 hours pc = 2mil gp worth of prayer xp. 4 hours altar method = 2mil gp worth of prayer xp AND 1mil gp Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue

Grogthurk
You wouldn't want to do that. Youll get more prayer xp by selling and buying dbones. Well, as far as I know that is the case.

It'll be cheaper to sell the frost bones and buy normal dragon bones, and probably faster. You can kill around ~200 frosts per hour (depending on equipment and skill), but you can altar a LOT more per hour. Dragon bones would be faster. Using frost bones for prayer is something you do if you're using a money-making method that's better than frosts (of which there are a few). To put it bluntly, [bleep] off. Of course, this depends on preference on speed and such.
