Frosties - mid/low level setup

Featured Replies

I'm almost 85 dg and will probably no-life it this weekend, so I thought I'd ask this now to give myself some time to prep up...

I was wondering how I would set up at Frosts given my stats (lack of yak, overloads, and turmoil).

What kinda inventory/gear would I be looking at for maximum effectiveness? I have access to extremes, rapier, piety, and tort. Obviously, I'm cannoning.

Gear:

- Neitiz

- Proselyte Top + Bottom

- Fury

- Bgloves

- Rapier

- Ddef

- Zerker

- SW Cape

- Dboots

Also, what's the approx $/hr around my level?

Hmm, Idk if i am able to help.

I do frosties non stop almost. But I have a yak and it helps me alot.

Using Soul Split is all you really need for healing. But you dont have it.

I am not sure what to do then.

Thank you for helping!

OT: just bring 4 prayer pots, a few sharks in case they melee, 1 anti fire and a war tort, also 2 doses of super set/extremes will work as well.

Maybe i can help, atm i dont have 85 dung, but i was looking for frosties guide, and i found this video, and i think this should help u too. Btw if u have same problem as me: I don't have a bandos gear, so i would use full void melee instead of it :) GL on visages :P

The best/most convenient way would be to cannon + range with void (deflector) and kxbow or rune crossbow w/ rune bolts (kxbow is better). Since you're pretty much stuck with piety or eagle eye, and you can't heal with ss flashing, and food takes attack turns, it's not as good to melee. Your ranged level is a little low however.

Melee would probably be slightly faster kills, I'd say, use rapier, defender, Verac's skirt and either a proselyte or barrows plate.

Also I lack rigour, which is why I never really considered using range as an option. I have the money for SS right now, but not turmoil... I just didn't want to sacrifice piety until I could get 95. Thanks for the tips!

If you can afford soul split but not turmoil, I'd say: get money (farming) while slaying for 99 strength. But then again I'm pretty patient (or slow :P) with these things, I can imagine you want money now, in which case I'd melee with piety, a little food, and barrows. Proselyte and void don't cut it defensively.

I wouldn't recommend getting 95 prayer in one go (which ironically is what I'm doing...). Buy 840 d bones or frost dragon bones, 40 marrentill and a tort, spend the 43 min offering bones and then go do something else.

Just do this once a day. With frost dragon bones you'll have it by the end of 2 weeks. With dragon bones by the end of a month.

Did you look at his stats? He is already 90 prayer, using frost dragon bones that's maybe 5 or 6 hours.

You make it sound like running through a few level 87 monsters is hard which it really shouldn't be at your level.
