I was wondering if prayer bonus actually has an effect while doing Barrows. Recently, I just got my Falador shield 3, and I want to try it out at Barrows to see if prayer bonus has any effect when the spirits try to drain your prayer.

fairly sure your pray bonus doesn't matter when it comes to what the dead brothers drain from you....

Indeed, I believe prayer bonus only alters the natural drain.

I can confirm that prayer bonus has no effect on the drain from the brothers, making it useless compared to offensive bonuses.

With lower prayer it can be useful to have prayer boosting armour to slow the normal drain but it has no effect on the leeched prayer.

in barrows, pray drains because of 2 reasons.

 

one being using prayer just like normal, the other being the drain of the barrows brothers.

 

the second is the major reason for prayer drain, and is unaffected by prayer bonus.

 

in-short: prayer bonus helps, but barely.

Actually go all out offensive, because the faster you kill the brothers the less time you'll spend inside the tombs and so your prayer will be drained less often. So less prayer bonus means faster brother killing. ;)
