can someone explain to me why i'm not getting any tokens??....have i set somrthing wrong at the start or what?

Actually, it is 1 token per 10 xp IIRC. It is rounded down, so 19xp would translate into 1 token still.

 

When you get less than 10 xp per dungeon, you are doing something terribly wrong. Check the guides, your ring of kinship settings and make sure to get your prestige right.

Perhaps the OP isn't getting "enough" tokens :P As was expecting to get 200,000 on the first day :P

Are you repeating floors? (Do you still get tokens if you repeat a floor?)

You still get tokens if you repeat floors, albeit much much less.

The only way to get Dungeoneering XP without tokens in Daemonheim is to leave a floor before completion. (Or get<10 XP per floor...)

You don't get physical tokens in your inventory, they're more like points. Talk to the rewards trader, and he'll show you how many points you have.

 

When you talk to the rewards trader, in the bottom of the interface it will look something like this:

 

Just to add, you don't get tokens for leaving a dungeon early; you have to see it through to the end to gain tokens. ;)

hmmm...no was not expecting 200,000 first day....just after some help really..but did expect to be rubbished for seeking some sort of easy to understand advice...how hard is it to just answer a question simply and clearly...hope you never have to instruct a young,naive apprentice in the finer points of cabinet making

thanks K4ylan but i understand that aspect...my problem is that i get xp but don't seem to get any tokens!!!...as i'm approaching lvl70 prayer i'd really like to be able to "buy" certain abilities...understand the points aspect in the slayer side of things but can't seem to get any joy in this skill...perhaps i should just give up on it

Are you actually training the skill by going through dungeons?

If you're getting your exp any other way (tears of guthix, penguin points, exp lamps, discovering resource dungeons, etc), you do not get any tokens.

Thanks norriie....yes trying to do that but often have problems with crashes in this area of the game...but even so have noticed that completing a dungeon generates xp but no tokens...think i have something set up wrong on the ring or somewhere else

Take a print screen, paste it onto Paint or any other art program, crop it, and upload with something like Tinypic. Seems to help.

 

And I don't know what's wrong with your dungeons, because it SHOULD give you dg tokens when you finish a dung.
